*My enemies are here somewhere* D'Void thought. Frowning, he looked near his citadel. *I'm not going to prison for conquering the Null Void.*
D'Void heard footsteps near the citadel. He turned to three Null Guardians. ''Bring the trespassers to me,'' he said to them.
D'Void watched as the Null Guardians flew into darkness. He smiled after they appeared with his enemies. He viewed the Null Guardians carrying Helen and Pierce with Manny. D'Void grinned while they scowled and struggled.
''You are not going to try to defeat me again. My Null Guardians will devour you this time. I am going to enjoy viewing your lives ending.''
D'Void's eyes became wide after baby Null Guardians sobbed. After turning his head, he ran into the citadel. *My babies are probably hungry now. I'll feed them as soon as possible* he thought. D'Void entered a chamber. He walked to a crib and smiled again.
''Daddy is here,'' D'Void said to two baby Null Guardians. He lifted them before the cries ceased. *Hmm. The babies are warm. They should rest until they are better.* D'Void placed the babies in the crib. He walked out of his citadel.
D'Void gasped the minute he saw the Null Guardians without his enemies. He approached them. ''You devoured my enemies?'' he asked.
He heard them while they screeched. His eyes widened again. ''My enemies fled? Find them! Devour them this time!''
D'Void viewed the Null Guardians departing. Another frown appeared on his face. He returned to his chamber prior to another gasp.
He began to tremble.
One hour later, D'Void stood by his citadel again. There was another smile. ''Daddy is here.'' Two tears streamed down D'Void's face.
He sobbed uncontrollably. D'Void remained near two tiny grave markers.
