A/N: Challenge Fic, I know, Surprise Surprise. This if for the 'Three AM Challenge, by the lovely Macceh. The challenge was to use the line "Do you really think three in the morning is the appropriate time to be discussing this?" So this is what I came up with, Enjoy :)

Three AM

Albus Dumbledore, an aging great Wizard, paced his office early one morning. He was waiting, who for he did not know, but he had that feeling, that itching at the base of his neck and that feeling of worry in the pit of his stomach.

Sure enough exactly two minutes and forty two seconds later a green flash lit up the room and Albus turned to the fire place. In the ashes, brushing himself off, stood Kingsley Shaklebolt. Kingsley stepped out of the fire and looked to his left then his right.

"Albus?" he bellowed.

"There is no need to shout Kingsley," the aging wizard said calmly from Kingsley's right hand side. Kingsley nearly scream in fright and regained himself before talking.

"We have a lead as to the whereabouts of You-Know-Who is Albus," Kingsley said rather proudly. Albus looked around him to the array of clocks he had sitting on a mantle piece.

"So what is your plan?" Albus asked. Kingsley lost his big head and looked around nervously. Albus looked at Kingsley over his half moon spectacles and opened his mouth to speak. Unfortunately they were interrupted by a loud bang as Hagrid came storming into the room holding in his hand, what looked like a weed. He held it up to the old man's face angrier then anyone had seen him.

"Those flesh eating slugs are destroying our cabbages again!" he bellowed. Albus stood calm and nodded his head. "I need some more slug repellent," Hagrid continued shaking the weeds in Dumbledores face. Dumbledore positioned his head down to look at Hagrid over his half moon spectacles.

"Do you really think three in the morning is the appropriate time to be discussing this?" the aging wizard asked. Hagrid relaxed and look around nervously realising what he had done. "I mean where would I get repellent at this time?" he continued calmly. Hagrid nodded uneasily and started walking backwards.

"Your right sorry sir," he said quickly before exiting the room in a much more clumsier way then he would have liked. Albus, satisfied, turned back to Kingsley and smiled.

"Now about your discovery."
