Angel, Spike, Gunn and Illyira watch the demons charge. They put up a fight
but they are overcome by the demons.
Meanwhile in bar Lorne is having another drink. He then is shocked to see Willow standing there before him with Buffy, Giles, Xander, Faith and an army of slayers. Buffy tells Lorne that she has gathered all the potential slayers to come here and rescue Angel from the wraths of Wolfram and Hart. Lorne is shocked but Buffy tells him that whilst she was in Rome the Wolfram e Hart started to kill potential slayers. Buffy said that she and the slayers destroyed the Rome branch of Wolfram and Hart. She was told the main branch of Wolfram and Hart was the L.A one and when she arrived there it was already destroyed. Willow says she managed to track down Lorne but she couldn't find the others. Lorne jumps up and says we still might have a chance. Lorne leads the Buffy crew to the alley. Has Lorne exits he is greeted by a dirty look from Giles.
Buffy, Lorne, Giles, Xander, Willow, Faith and an army of slayers arrive in the alley and they see an army charging in the opposite direction towards something. Buffy then leads the slayers into battle and they attack the army from behind. A huge battle takes place between slayers and the wrath of the SP. Buffy then starts to look for Angel and she sees Gunn badly bleeding but still alive. She still can't find Spike or Angel in the battle. She sees Illyira but she doesn't recognise her so Buffy starts to attack Illyira. Lorne comes and saves Illyira from Buffy. Buffy continues searching for the Angel but she can't find him. The slayers have managed to defeat the army but the dragon is still circling above. Buffy looks closer at the dragon and sees Angel riding it before eventually cutting its head off and jumping of it and landing in front of Buffy. Buffy doesn't know that Spike was alive but he died in the battle by saving Angel.
The entire gang are in the Hotel where Angel Investigations took place. Angel thanks Buffy and the slayers for their help and tells them to leave. Buffy is shocked but Angel says I moved away from Sunnydale to get away from you. It's over between me and you. Anyway you have The Immortal. Buffy tells Angel The Immortal is dead. He tried to get my sister so I killed him. Angel tells everyone that the Senior Partners sent their most powerful army and we defeated it. It's over now. Angel tells them to go back to Rome. Buffy asks Angel what he is going to do. Angel says what he started to do 'Help the Helpless'. An emotional hurt Buffy leads everyone out of the hotel. Giles and Faith say they will stay here and keep an eye on Angel. Angel, Illyira, Lorne, Giles and Faith are left standing in the hotel. Meanwhile Gunn is in hospital and he is visited by Hamilton. Hamilton asks Gunn if he really thought it would be that easy before killing Gunn.
