In the year 2126, a DMMO-RPG known as YGGDRASIL Online was rolled out toe public. It sported a nearly infinite number of spells, weapons, gear and a astonishing level of player freedom. It quickly became so popular, the game became synonymous with the genre, itself. The game's developers were also known to reward outstanding players unique items, abilities, skills, and even races depending on the feat that impressed them.
Numerous guilds appeared, but one stood above all others. Ainz Ooal Gown, a 43 player guild comprised of Heteromorphic races that made its home in the Great Tomb of Nazarick. This guild quickly gained notoriety due to their use of real world money to acquire unique gear and even World Level Items. They also gathered and hoarded many rare materials to construct rare weapons. In it the time it was its peak, Ainz Ooal Gown has never been conquered, no matter how many guilds banded together.
However, it has fallen into a state of decline and now, on YGGDRASIL's last day, only three members remained.
Momonga, Guild Leader of Ainz Ooal Gown, was beyond sad, right now. Today was the day YGGDRASILL was to be shut down after twelve years of operation. Ordinarily, he wouldn't have been so upset, but he had no friends or family IRL, and he had poured his very being into this game and the Great Tomb of Nazarick. But, he had no say or power to change this decision, so he accepted this fate and decided to reach out to rest of his guildmates with one final request: return to Nazarick and take it in, one last time. Sadly, all but three members showed: HeroHero, Sakuya, and Boldric.
HeroHero was an Elder Black Ooze of a purplish color. Due to being a Slime, his avatar's body was essentially a living puddle that constantly writhed with only a pair of black spots for eyes.
Sakuya, on the other hand, was an Angel. Her avatar stood at a little over six feet, much taller than any woman Momonga has ever met IRL, and was absolutely beautiful. With a petite, yet well-built body, she had all the right curves to attract any guy she wanted. Her skin was fair, but had a slight tan to it, her eyes were a brilliant sapphire blue, and she kept her blonde hair in a low bun. She looked mostly Human, save for the black-colored angel wings and slightly pointed ears. Her outfit consisted of a midnight blue sleeveless shirt, black shorts, black gloves reaching to her shoulders, and midnight blue thigh high boots, all of it skin-tight. Over her shirt was a midnight blue tabard reaching to her ankles with gold designs, two equally long cloth tails on either side of her waist by a tight belt, and nine belts, three on each bicep and three around her waist, over the tabard, each belt having a differently colored jewel encrusted in it. She also had on midnight blue vambraces that covered the back of her hands. Four red ribbons trailed from her back to the floor.
Sakuya was quite a handy addition to the guild. Not only is she one of the strongest players in the game, she possessed a few unique spells and abilities he's never seen before. She has served as Momonga's right hand for as long as he can remember, often stepping in as acting Guildmaster when the situation called for it. She had a sibling-like bond with most of the members, except for Peroroncino, who always hit on her and resulted in Sakuya nearly ripping his head off(sometimes, literally).
Boldric was a hulking behemoth, standing at 8 feet in height and was a Dragonoid. He had the appearance of a Humanoid dragon with a muscular body covered in thick dark brown scales. He had four horns, the upper pair being much larger, more curved, and having sharp points at wherever the horns curved than the bottom pair, four long moustache-like tendrils similar to Chinese dragons, gold colored eyes, and a main of thick, black spiky hair in between the horns. He lacked any form of wings, and wore little armor. Only a pair of pants, and armored gauntlets.
Boldric was the guild's blacksmith and one of the best ever. He could forge weapons unlike anything else with the rest materials. This has served the guild well, leading to the creation of many powerful items in their possession.
HerHero let out a tired sigh.
"Hey, there. It's been a while, hasn't, Momonga, Sakuya, Boldric?" he asked, rising his appendage in greeting. Sakuya giggled.
"I'll say, you've been gone for two years" she stated, resting her chin in her hand.
"Yeah, I didn't think you'd come, to be honest, HeroHero" Momonga added.
"No way, it's really been that long? Man, I guess I've been working so much, my concept of time is out of whack" HerHero said.
"That cannot sound good for your health" Boldric said, crossing his arms.
"Tell me about it. I feel like my Avatar looks… I'm sorry. I shouldn't come here just to complain" HeroHero said, apologetically.
"Please, don't worry about it" Momonga said, raising his skeletal hand.
"We're glad you came, at all, you big old slimeball" Sakuya said. Boldric nodded in agreement. HeroHero laughed at the old nickname.
"Well, I better go, soon. I'm beyond exhausted" he said, pulling up the menu. Momonga was slightly taken aback by this, hoping he'd stay until the end, but didn't let it show.
"Right… Rest up and feel better" he said, encouragingly, even throwing up a smile emote for good measure.
"Wish I could stay longer… But, I'm kind of shocked to see the Great Tomb of Nazarick still standing. Being Guild Leader suited you. You've done a great job maintaining the place. With Boldric's help, I'm sure" HeroHero said, surprising Momonga a little. Boldric scoffed.
"Like I let the place we worked so hard to build fall into disrepair. I'd sooner hang up my hammer" he said, proudly.
"He's right. We created this place together. We couldn't just let it all go to dust" Momonga stated, agreeing with Boldric.
"Must've been hard work. Thanks for everything. I hope we meet, again, IRL" HeroHero said and logged out, leaving the three alone.
"Gee, I was hoping more people showed up. We could've swapped stories, take one last look around the old place while we wait for Ragnarok to come" Sakuya said, glumly. Boldric glanced at her.
"Still calling it that, I see" he said, not surprised at all. This isn't first time she's caused YGGDRASIL's last day Ragnarok. Though, he had to admit the name fits rather well, considering the game's Norse roots.
"I'm happy he even came, at all" Momonga said, then went silently.
'I hope we meet, again, huh? Right… Just when and where would that be?... THIS SUCKS!' Anger swelled in Momonga as he slammed his fist on the massive council table, startling his two friends with the sudden action. The game, for some reason, registered that as an attack, but it did no damage to the table.
"Momonga…" Sakuya muttered, hesitantly.
"This is our home, Sakuya! We built this place we virtual blood and sweat! How could he turn his back on it, so easily?!" he shouted, tugging at the good nature in Sakuya's heart.
"Momonga, you know that isn't true. No one abandoned this place out of a lack of love" she said, standing up, and placing a hand on the Lich's shoulder. After a second, he calmed down.
"Yes, you're right. He didn't. No one in the guild betrayed us" he said, sounding much calmer.
"Betrayal or not, it doesn't erase the fact everything we worked for will be undone in a mere instant" Boldric said, sounding saddened. Sakuya sighed sadly.
"I haven't this sad since I watched Infinity War" she said, she then noticed Momonga ahd stood up and was staring at the Guild's weapon, the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown. They all remembered the staff fondly. They had to, literally, slay the Greek and Norse pantheons to get the materials to make it.
"Ah, the staff. That item's creation was truly a triumphant day for our guild, one I had hoped would live forever" Boldric said, thinking to the day he first forged the staff and offered it to Momonga.
"Yeah, but those days are now gone. We were once 43 members strong. We struck down entire guilds, stole their wealth, and claimed their World Level Items for our own. But, now, only three of us remain" Sakuya said. Momonga silently agreed and came to a decision. He gripped the staff, the whole them becoming engulfed in a dark aura, before turning to his last guildmates.
"Let's head to the throne room" he said. They nodded and followed their Guild Leader, one last time. He was going to miss these two. They were his two most loyal friends and allies, defending him even when other members got too out of line. He doubts he'll ever meet them IRL. One of the requirements for join Ainz Ooal Gown was that you had to be a functioning member of society. Sakuya worked as an engineer in America while Boldric was a security guard someone in Britain. All members had put their livelihoods on the line to play, and, in the end, Momonga couldn't blame them for choosing their more important real life responsibilities over a fictional game. As the left the conference room, a sharp dressed man and six maids were awaiting him. They all bowed at the sight of him.
"Ah, Sebas and the Pleiades Battle Maids. Really wish we could've leveled them up more. Just feels like a waste to keep them at level 60" Sakuya said, inspecting each maid.
"You know they weren't made to defeat intruders, Sakuya" Boldric said. He was right. The Pleiades wasn't supposed to stop intruders, but merely slow them long enough for the guild to prepare their best gear and meet them in the throne room in a manner similar to the main villain in a movie.
"I know… But, I really liked the Pleiades" Sakuya said with a pout. Sakuya always was more interested in Nazarick's female NPCs than the male ones, so it makes sense she'd like the all female maid squad and be sad she won't see them again.
"Well, I say we should move them around, one last time. Follow me" Momonga ordered, walking ahead. Sakuya and Boldric followed suit and the seven NPCs easily followed behind them.
"I'm sure the others won't mind we have our fun with the NPCs, just for today" Boldric commented. The group came to a set of intimidating doors, which opened with a loud creak, revealing the throne room, which was massive and had forty three flags, one for each member of the guild. They walked down the ridiculously long hall and spotted an NPC by the throne.
"Ah, Albedo, the Guardian Overseer. I think I'm really going to miss this one" Sakuya said, mostly to herself. Momonga sat down in his throne while Sakuya and Boldric stood on either of him.
"Stand by" Sakuya commanded. Sebas and the Pleiades bowed and stood off to the side. Momonga watched on in silence before glancing at Albedo, who looked on with an ever-presence gentle smile. Feeling curious, he opened her settings, but noticed how long it was.
"Yeesh, are you reading her settings or a book?" Sakuya asked, looking at the settings as well, despite the fact she can't read Japanese. She knew Tabula was a settings maniac, but this is a little much.
"Huh? No way, she's a slut?" Momonga asked in disbelief, having read the final sentence. He was shocked that someone as beautiful as Albedo could be a slut.
"That's Tabula, for you. Always loves making contradicting characters whenever he could" Boldric commented, not phased in the slightest. An idea entered Sakuya's mind.
"Hey, since it's the last day, you think he'd mind if we mess with her settings?" she asked.
"I don't think so. And, normally, you'd need a tool to do that, but since I have this" Momonga said, pointing the staff at the settings window. A keyboard appeared and, with it, Momonga erased that last line. Now, what to add in its place. He glanced at Sakuya and it hit him. He typed in the sentence "she is deeply in love with Sakuya".
"Ah, Momonga, you're such a dork!" Sakuya exclaimed. If it were possible, Sakuya's face would've been beet red. Boldric chuckled, but said nothing. Momonga closed the settings window, content with this change.
"Bow down" he commanded. The NPCs all bowed and placed their right hand over their heart. He sighed and took a long look at each flag.
"You know, I'm going to miss this place. And being in this body" Sakuya said, glancing at her wings. Boldric smirked.
"Are you're sure it's not because you prefer your avatar's looks over IRL?" he teased.
"Hey! I'll have you know I'm quite the cutie in real life!" she exclaimed.
"You forget, we actually met in real life. You're not all that impressive" he said, further infuriating her.
"I least I don't smell like a lumberjack!" she shot back.
"It's called cologne, Sakuya" Boldric shot back, cooly. He really enjoyed these back and forth sessions with her. They were like a pair of siblings, teasing each other to no end, but always having each other's backs. Silence soon reigned over the three.
"You know, it was fun hanging out with all of you" she said, sounding sincere.
"Yeah, it was fun. In fact, it was a blast" Momonga said. Ten seconds to shut down.

"I have to wake up at four A.M… I better crash after the servers shut down. Wouldn't want to be a zombie at work"

"Same here. I may have the day shift, but I still have to get up early. The museum I work is a real stickler for punctuality"
7…
"And I have a major air filter project I've been working on, so I need to get that done. Without this game, I'll have plenty of free time"

Something was wrong. They were still in the throne room of Nazarick. Sakuya, her mind in overdrive, noticed some very peculiar things. For one, she could see everything much clearer than before. Secondly, she could smell. The game didn't have the tech needed for that kind of thing.
"Uh, what just happened? Did the devs push back the shut down date?" she asked, not noticing her voice had become more velvety nor that she could actually feel the wings on her back.
"I don't know, but I can't access my console to contact the GM" Momonga replied, his voice sounding more like something befitting his avatar's appearance.
"Could it be a glitch in the system?" Boldric suggested, his voice sounding much deeper than before.
"Is something wrong, Lord Momonga? Lord Boldric? Lady Sakuya?"
All three froze at the new voice. They turned to see Albedo looking up at them, a mixture of curiosity and concern in her gold, slit eyes.
"Lord Momonga? Lord Boldric? Lady Sakuya?" she asked again, tilting her head. Sakuya actually found that a little cute, but she was more concerned that the NPCs are moving and talking of their own free will. There's also the fact they have facial expressions, another thing that wasn't possible in the game.
"Lord Momonga? Lord Boldric? Lady Sakuya? Is everything alright? You seem trouble, my lords and lady" she said, sounding a little worried. They all stared at her, wondering how in the world this is possible. Boldric was starting to think this is actually an update on the game and the shut down was just the devs trolling everyone. Suddenly, Albedo stood and got close to Momonga.
"If there is a problem, please me help!" she sated, taking Momonga by surprise. Before he could respond, Albedo clasped her hands in front of her, inadvertently squeezing her ample bosom. Like any man, he was aroused instantly. So was Sakuya, honestly, but she was better at hiding. Suddenly, a green light washed over Momonga and he instantly calmed down.
"The GM Call function isn't working" he said. Albedo took a few steps back and bowed her head.
"I'm sorry, but I have no answer. This GM Call magic you speak is beyond my comprehension" she said. Momonga was still a freaked out that she's speaking and acting on her own.
"I realize my failure to assist you is inexcusable. I don't deserve, but I beg for your mercy, Lord!" she exclaimed, shocking the three. Sakuya felt it's time to step in.
"Sebas" she called out. The butler looked up from his position.
"Yes, my Lady?" he asked.
"Scout the area surrounding Nazarick, but don't no farther than 100 meters" she said, her tone immediately commanding attention.
"By your command, my Lady" Sebas said and left. Momonga, by this point, has gotten his bearings and followed Sakuya's example.
"Pleiades, I want you on the 9th Floor. If anyone tries to trespass, deal with them" he said.
"As you wish, my Lord. It will be done" Yuri Alpha said and left, the Pleiades following behind her. At least they still recognize commands, even ones no native to the game. Momonga pondered on this situation. How can he get a hold of a GM? The Call Function isn't working. Perhaps he could use the Message Spell, but that's meant for contacting other players. And he didn't even know if he Magic still works.
"So, Lord Momonga? Lord Boldric? Lady Sakuya? Do you have any orders for me to obey?' Albedo asked. Momonga stared at her in quiet contemplation. Sakuya had an idea that might help test something.
"Albedo, can you please come over here?" she asked. Albedo approached Sakuya, her exciting building with each step. Once she was close enough, Sakuya pulled her in and locked lips with the Succubus, shocking both Momonga and Boldric. Albedo was also surprised, but quickly fell into the kiss, loving every second of it. After ten or so seconds, they broke apart, panting heavily. Albedo looked to pass out from pure bliss.
"Wow, Albedo, who know you were such an amazing kisser" Sakuya said, gleefully. Albedo stayed quiet, but her body gave away her thoughts. She got to kiss Lady Sakuya and it was every bit as amazing as she expected.
"Right, now that you're done, I have something for you do, Albedo" Boldric said, having stayed quiet this whole time. Reluctantly, she turned and let go of Sakuya. She wanted to keep holding onto her, but she couldn't deny the will of her Lord.
"Yes, my Lord?" she asked.
"Except for Victim and Gargantua, have the Floor Guardians gather in the 6th Floor arena. And I want the Deep Mines Guardian present, as well. Have them gather there in one hour" he said. Albedo bowed.
"As you wish, my Lord" she said and left, leaving the three alone.
"Now, then, Sakuya. May I ask why you kissed Albedo, like that?" Momonga asked.
"To test a theory I had" she said, simply.
"And what theory is that?" Boldric asked.
"That this tomb and everyone in it are now real, living beings. I could smell Albedo, feel her skin, and the game would've booted me out with that kiss" she explained.
"You make excellent points, Sakuya. Guess our minds were so frazzled, that we didn't see the answer staring us right in the face" Momonga said.
"I would like to know how this happened. Games don't just magically become real" Boldric said.
"Yes, I'd like to know that, as well. But, we'll deal with that later. For now, we have other concerns to deal with" Momonga said.
"Such as…?" Sakuya asked. Momonga shows her his Ring of Ainz Ooal Gown.
"We need to know if our spells, ietms, and abilities still work" he said. They all glanced at their rings and, with some concentration, teleported to the 6th Floor.
"Glad to see our items still work" Boldric commented. The trio entered the arena, but found it to be empty.
"Weren't a pair of Dark Elf twins guarding this floor?" Sakuya asked. As if on cue, one of the Dark Elves leapt from a high balcony and landed with ease. She through up two Vs and rushed over to the three.
"Aura" Momonga said as she stopped in front of them, kicking up a lot of dust in the process.
"We're honored to have you here, Lord Momonga, Lord Boldric, and Lady Sakuya! Welcome to the 6th Floor Amphitheater!" she said, excitedly.
"Thank you for the welcome, Aura. We'll only intrude for a little while" Boldric said.
"You must be joking! You three are the undisputed rulers of Nazarick. Your power here is absolute. No Guardian would ever think of you as in intruder, leas of allt my brother and I" Aura stated.
"Speaking of…" Momonga trailed off, looking for Aura's twin brother, Mare. Aura gets the point and glances up at the balcony.
"Mare! You're being rude to the Supreme Beings! Stop cowering and get down here!" she shouted.
"But, sis, I'm scared!" a timid voice called out.
"MARE!" Aura shouted, with more force than before.
"O-okay, I'm coming!" Mare called out, giving in. He landed with the same ease but nearly tripped. He ran as fast as he could to the his sister's side.
"I'm sorry to make wait, Lord Momonga, Lord Boldric, Lady Sakuya" he said.
"It's alright, Mare. Now, we need you to help us with something" Sakuya said, crouching down to the Elves' level. Then, they noticed the staff still in Momonga's hand.
"Amazing! Is that the legendary item that will only bend to your whim, Lord Momonga? The fabled weapon of the Tomb created by Lord Boldric?" Mare asked in awe.
"Indeed. It was created through the combined efforts of the guild's past members. It is a testament of our might: the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown! Each stone in seven crowning snakes is a God-level Artifact. On top of that, the power in the staff, itself, transcends God-Level. It is truly legendary, it's abse states on par with any World-Level Item. In fact, the DPS of it auto-attack alone could one-shot a-" Momonga explained, slipping into a tirade. Sakuya saw this and gave him a let tap on the head.
"We aren't here to brag about the staff, Momonga" she scolded, lightly.
"Right, sorry. Anyways, we'd like to have you two helps us run some tests with it" Momonga said, recovering quickly.
"Right! We won't let you down, Lord!" Aura said, enthusiastically.
"Also, Aura, we've called the Guardians to meet here. They should arrive in an hour" Sakuya said. Aura looked a little nervous at that.
"Does that mean Shalltear's coming?" she asked.
"Afraid so" Sakuya replied, causing the Elf to slump and let out a whine. A couple of Dragonoids came and set up a couple of practice dummies.
"I'll go first, if you don't mind. Maximize Magic: Emerald Blaze" Sakuya called out and launched an emerald green fire at one of the dummies, setting it ablaze. In a few seconds, the dummy was liquified. The Dark Elf twins were amazed by the spell.
"Lady Sakuya, was that…?" Mare asked, hesitantly.
"Yes, Jotunn-style Magic. A set of 10th Tier Spells that cause both fire and unholy damage to their targets. Quite a powerful skill set, if I do so say myself" Sakuya bragged, puffing out her chest, much to Momonga's amusement.
'Sakuya always did enjoy talking about her Jotunn Magic since she's the only one known to have access to that kind of Magic. Her Emerald Blaze spell proved Magic still works. I'll need to do is concentrate' he thought and, in a moment, info flooded his mind: The attack range, cooldown, and damage of his spells. He even knew how much MP he had. Swelling with newfound confidence.
"Summon Primal Fire Elemental!" he shouted. The red jewel on his staff started glowing the training dummy along the remains of the other one were engulfed in a blazing inferno. Momonga, Sakuya, and Boldric were unaffected by the intense heat while the Dragonoids shielded the twins, who were once again in awe. A being of red-hot fire and stone emerged from the flames, roaring with primal fury.
"A Primal Fire Elemental, with a level of over 80. A powerful and savage beast, to be sure" Boldric stated.
"Indeed. Now, would you like to fight it?" Momonga asked. Boldric grunted, reached into some sort of void, and pulled out a massive spiked, two-handed kanabo. With this weapon in hand, he approached the Elemental. Sakuya came up beside him.
"You don't mind if I make this a double date?" she asked.
"Not at all. Think you can take it, though?" Boldric asked. Sakuya smiled and dropped into a fighting stance, still barehanded. Momonga and the Dark Elf Twins went off to the side to avoid getting caught in the crossfire.
"Primal Fire Elemental attack Sakuya and Boldric!" Momonga commanded. The Elemental complied and launched a torrent of fire at the two. Sakuya flew into the air, slightly surprised by how easily she could learn how to fly, while Boldric just stood there and took it. Sakuya went to attack it, but the Elemental spotted her and threw a punch. Using her wing as a shield, she blocked the attack. Boldric charged and slammed his kannabo against the Elemental's shoulder, causing a large gash. Since it was made of fire, the gash soon vanished. Sakuya saw an opening, and punched the Elemental in the face, knocking it back.
Momonga watched on, not surprised. Sakuya and Boldric were both skilled in warrior classes, which gave them a small edge. Sakuya especially, thanks to a combination of both Magic and Warrior classes.
'I knew this would be easy for them. Now, we know our skills and magic still work. But…' he thought.
"Message" he said. He got nothing in return.
'No go. I can't contact a GM or my guild members' He was only mildly disappointed. He knew it was a longshot, anyway, but didn't hurt that he tried.
{Sebas: I'm here. Is there something you need, Lord Momonga?} Came the distinct voice of Sebas, much to Momonga's surprise. His Message Spell actually connected? He quickly shook off the surprise.
{Momonga: Sebas, how do things look on the outside?}
{Sebas: Well, Lord, there is a slight problem}
{Momonga: I have called the Guardians to gather. Come to the 6th Floor Amphitheater, immediately. You can report what you saw once you're here}
{Sebas: Understood}
By now, Sakuya and Boldric had defeated the Elemental and were making their way back over to Momonga. The Dark Elf Twins were in awe at seeing two of their masters fighting with such ease. Sure, the Elemental wouldn't have fared better against them, but it was still a sight to behold.
"That was barely a warm up for me. I had a harder time against Seraphim" she said, her hands behind her head.
"Still, it served its purpose. All our skills and Magic works as they did before" Boldric stated.
"True, but it would've nice to have a decent challenge. I wouldn't want to become rusty, after all" Sakuya said.
"Wow, Lady Sakuya and Lord Brdic, that was amazing!" Aura exclaimed, her eyes sparkling.
"Oh, please. I barely broke a sweat fighting that thing" Sakuya said proudly.
"I can't say it was hard, myself" Boldric said.
"You know, I thought you and Lord would be scarier, Lord Boldric" Aura commented.
"Is that so? I can be scarier if you want me too" Momonga said, amusement obvious in his voice.
"Nope, I like you the way you are, Lord! It's the best!" she replied.
"And what about me?" Sakuya asked.
"You're exactly how I thought you'd be: super kind and kind of quirky" Aura replied, with a big grin. Internally, Sakuya had the urge to hug them them with all her might, but she had more self-control than that.
{Momonga: Sakuya, Boldric, can you hear me?}
{Sakuya: Loud and clear. Nice to see this still works}
{Boldric: Yes, it does. Now, we can keep in touch no matter the distance}
{Sakuya: Anyway, anything on your mind}
{Momonga: Yes. We know that all of Nazarick's NPCs have become alive and seem to be completely loyal to us. So, I'd like to try and be proper superiors to them}
{Sakuya: Maybe you will, but I'm going to try and enjoy being with them. I have wished, numerous times, that these NPCs would come alive and now that wish has come true. I intend to taking advantage of this. I'm especially eager to see where my relationship with Albedo will go}
{Boldric: Right…. On a different note, we should also learn as much as we can about this new world. We were all max level in Yggdrasil, so I wonder how strong we'll be here}
{Momonga: And, if this is a new world, should we even try to return to our old one?}
{Sakuya: I'm not sure that's possible, considering we don't know how we even got here, in the first place. Why do you ask, anyway?}
{Momonga: I can't say the same for you two, but I really had nothing special, back there. I had no friends or family, all I did was work, eat and sleep. In all honesty, my life wasn't worth much}
{Sakuya: Oh, don't you dare say that to me, Suzuki Satoru! You're life is worth plenty! But… you have a point. I had a rather bland life, myself. Sure, I lived in a well-off home, with good parents, and had a decent job, but I always felt unfulfilled, like I was missing something. But, then I started playing YGGDRASIL and I felt complete. Now, I feel more alive than I ever have. So, if we ever get a chance to go back, I'll stay here. I like being Sakuya}
{Boldric: I have to agree with her on this, Momonga. I never liked our old world, very much. It was doomed to disappear, but now, we have a second chance and I'm NOT wasting it}
{Momonga: Then, it's settled: we'll accept our new life and see what this new world has to offer. Now, the Guardians are arriving. We best be ready to command them}
Hello, everyone! I bring you a new story, unrelated to my previous ones.
Overlord is a one of the most unique Anime I have ever seen-and that says a lot, considering how strange Anime can get. It's basically an answer to the question "What if a Video Game became real?", but instead of the Video Game characters entering our world, it's the other way around, in a sense. This wouldn't be possible without the inclusion of advanced VR tech-not the first time this was used, though-and it has a very great story, in my opinion. The series is heavily influenced by D&d, especially 3.5 Edition, so D&D players might recognize a few things in it.
Now, the "What if Momonga wasn't alone?' story plot has been done before, and I read several version of it, however, that's usually done with one person, not two, like in my version. I will be diverging in some places, like these other fics do, but the plot should the same over all.
Before I forget: I don't own Overlord.
Untill next time.
