This one might be a little triggering, if you are ok with this one than I hope you enjoy.
Sapphire sat on the hospital bed, sapphire turned over on her side letting tears slowly roll down her face. She tensed up when she heard the door open but she calmed down when she heard rubys voice "hey baby, I'm back" sapphire continued to cry hearing ruby ask "baby you ok?" sapphire nodded looking out the window feeling ruby sit down next to her pulling her closer. Sapphire sat up moving to sit in rubys lap letting the taller girl wrap her arms around her mumbling "I'm sorry sapphire, I"m sorry we lost him I'm sorry that I can't always be there. I-I'm sorry baby" sapphire nodded looking up at her tears starting to roll down her cheeks, sapphire wiped the tears off her cheek mumbling "ruby none of this is your fault" ruby interrupted her "it's not yours either. You've been blaming yourself for this sense it happened." sapphire nodded sighing letting ruby pull her closer kissing her four head, ruby laid down pulling sapphire closer not even trying to fall asleep until she was positive that sapphire was asleep.
Ruby woke up looking down at sapphire who was still asleep, she sat up slightly getting on her phone seeing a message.
MOM: were coming over to see you guys. we were just contacted by the hospital and they told us what is going on.
Ruby sighed quickly replying and putting her phone down when sapphire woke up, she pulled sapphire closer to her kissing her softly "we're going home today" sapphire nodded mumbling "I love you ruby, I wouldn't be able to get through any of this" ruby smiled softly kissing her softly "I love you too baby" sapphire rested her head on rubys chest looking up when ruby said "our family is coming over and then we're going to go home with luna" sapphire nodded "let's take a shower then let's get ready to go.
They got home and put luna to bed as it was late, ruby pulled sapphire closer to her in their bed. Sapphire rested her head on rubys chest mumbling "I love you" ruby nodded chuckling "I love you too baby, and even though this week has been absolutely insane nothing would ever change my love" sapphire smiled mumbling "i hate things like this" ruby nodded "i know, we all hate unexpected losses." with that she laid down pulling sapphire closer to her and falling asleep once she could tell that sapphire was asleep.
I hope you enjoyed this one, it was a bit sad but the next story will be all happy-go-lucky. But I'll see you in the next one, bye. :P
