This came to me today after a friend shoved me off a bench. It's about a little mind game my friends love to play with each other and how I think Kai would react. I know it's short, but I only know two!
Nope, don't own it or you wouldn't know me.
Kai knew he shouldn't of walked in the living room when Tyson said, "Kai, stand on this chair."
The Russian said, "No." Then was about to walk out when he heard Max speak.
"Why not? Afraid what Tyson'll do?"
Kai turned around as Ray said, "It won't injure you, we've all done it. Even Hilary, although she wouldn't answer the question."
The brunette on the couch yelled, "It was too fast! I didn't see!"
Kai sighed. "Fine, I'll try whatever you want me to do. But if I do get injured, it's your guy's fault, not mine," he said, going to stand on it. Hilary stood on the chair behind him and said, "Close your eyes."
Kai did, praying Ray was right on this not resulting in him getting hurt.
Hilary leaned forward toward his ear. "You're on top of the Eiffel Tower." Then she switched to a sing-song voice and said, "People laughing. Children crying." Going back to normal. "A breeze is on your neck." She blew across the back of his neck.
Despite the fact he knew he was on a chair, he was beginning to get that feeling of standing on an edge and looking over to see the floor far below.
"Then someone comes up behind you…" Kai stiffened as Hilary said this then…
"They push you!"
He yelped as Hilary shoved him off the chair. For that first second, he felt like he was really falling off a high place; he hated when a brain did that.
Tyson was by him now. "What color did you see?"
Kai looked up. "What does that have to do with anything?"
Max smiled. "Just tell us."
Kai sighed and said, "I think it was green, but I'm unsure it was so fast."
Hilary smiled. "Then you're relaxed and calm."
Ray blinked. "Surprising and strange for a guy like Kai who always seems to be tense and alert."
Kai raised an eyebrow. "You shoved me off a chair for that?"
Tyson nodded. "You want another one like that?"
Kai shook his head. "But I'll do one to you Tyson."
Tyson nodded and made to climb onto the chair but Kai said, "No. Just close your eyes and give me your arm."
Tyson frowned but did as his captain told him to. He knew Kai was up to something, but he had no idea what.
"You're lying on the beach. The sun is shining down, and you begin to fall asleep." The teen smiled as Kai's fingers lightly brushed his arm. He was feeling like he was there.
"Then, while you're asleep, someone comes along and cuts your arm open." He winced and a nail ran down his arm. It was like a knife. "Then they start packing sand in. Wet, heavy sand."
Tyson was confused. What was their captain doing? He winced as Kai pinched his arm and said, "Then they stitch you up, and before you wake up they're gone. Is your arm heavier?"
Tyson blinked. "That doesn't make sense. It does."
Kai shrugged. "Simple neuroscience Tyson. You don't see what's happening, so your brain believes what people tell you. Someone says you're on top of the Eiffel Tower, you'll feel like you're there even if you're only on a chair."
Max blinked. "Seriously? Do you know any others, Kai?"
The Russian nodded. "This is just starting. You're next my friend."
I hope you all liked. My friend actually did the Eiffel Tower one to me today and I thought, 'How would Kai react to being shoved off a chair while being told he's standing on the Eiffel Tower observation deck.' Thus, this came! Tell me what you think, I love your thoughts, they make me happy.
And try these out. They really work!
