Hey everyone! I have created a Jyrus fanfiction. I hope you enjoy this story, especially you Jyrus fans.
And forgive me for spoiling, but this will be a bit of a Tyrus story as well. I gotta admit, writing stuff that you never see much is a tough challenge, and that's a record that I'm trying to break. And yeah, I never watch Andi Mack much, but I want to do this. Jyrus is my favorite ship anyway.

Just a phrase?
Chapter 1 - Jonah's confusion.
...
"Hey babe," Andi smiled sweetly to her boyfriend, Jonah, while she approaches over to him.
"Hey Andi," Jonah blushed as Andi grabs his hand. The Beck boy looks down at their interlocked hands as his body was filled with so much bliss. He was so lucky to have popularity in the whole middle school. Always lucky on the outside without a doubt. But something on the inside is what everyone, not even him, knew about.
His green eyes were then shifted to his friend, Cyrus, who was sitting from the distance. Jonah could tell that Cyrus had a seemingly sad look on his face while staring at his and Andi's hands. He then notice Jonah's gaze at him before he look down at the table. It really hurt Jonah to see him like this. It wasn't the first time that Jonah has seen Cyrus like this, and it's obvious that the brunette boy was trying to be happy like he was pretending to be.
Being a kind good friend, Jonah wanted to do something to make Cyrus happy. He always adored his innocent smile as much as he adored Andi's. He searched for some useful thoughts in his brain that could help. It even makes him forget about all of his problems. "Hey Cyrus, how's Hebrew doing for you?" He asked while approaching Cyrus.
The Jewish boy's head jolted up with a surprised look on his face at Jonah's request. Not wanting to be rude by not answering it, he answered a simple "good" with a small fake smile.
"I didn't know you can speak Hebrew. Are you learning?" Andi asks.
"Yes," Cyrus answered her with a bit of annoyance in his tone.
"He's doing it for his Bar Mitzvah," Jonah said to his girlfriend.
"Oh that's nice," The Mack girl responds, then resumes having a conversation with the Good Hair Crew.
All the while, Jonah couldn't help but stare at the Goodman boy. He don't why but he admired all the things he did. When Cyrus smiles, Jonah smiles. When Cyrus says something funny, Jonah laughed. But it seems to be repulsive to be gazing at him instead of Andi. People told him about the way a boy looks at another boy is weird and wrong. Surely he would never do that, right? He has Andi, and she has him. Jonah kept looking over at her and tries to keep his focus on her instead of Cyrus. Unfortunately, his eyes returned back over to the Jewish boy.
"Damn it," He cursed in his mind. This isn't the first time that he does this. It's keeps bothering him everyday as much as it bothers him all day today as hours ticked by.
As Jonah himself wondered across the school, Cyrus was all who he can think of. His sweet smile. His amazing laugh. Why is he so obsessed with him? What is it in him that makes Jonah feel this way? He's just a friend, Jonah thought to himself. He's...just a friend.
He gotta admit, Cyrus is awesome, yet so amazing. He deserves all of Jonah's attention. He doesn't even mind the way Cyrus acts all weird the first time when he's around him. It was actually kinda... cute.
But Jonah then shook his head. What the heck is wrong with him?! He's with Andi now! His attention should be focused on her, and her alone! Plus, he isn't on anyone else's mind. It's obvious of the fact that Jonah is the only one who thinks Cyrus is cool for who he is. Not caring that he's awkward. He's just... him. The others haven't seen him the way he did. Or... maybe they haven't seen the Cyrus they had... unless...,
As Jonah wonders through the halls of Jefferson Middle School, his head was spinning like a carousel. As if he's fallen into a trance, the sounds that surrounds him could no longer reach his ears. He couldn't even see what's going on in front of him. The voices in his head echoed through his head along with a million questions, and he just can't clear his mind.
"Why do I keep thinking about Cyrus?"
"Does he act nervous around me because he likes me more than a friend?"
"Do I like Cyrus more than a friend?"
"No, I can't be gay!"
"I don't wanna be gay, I like girls!"
"I don't like Cyrus!"
Even though that he just denied it, it's true that he does like Cyrus. But not in that way, right? Cyrus is a nice kid. And also cool. He enjoys every moment of being around him. I love his smile, his laugh. But, he love all those things about Andi. He love her more like he should. Her brown hair (though it is not long like Amber's or nice like Cyrus's), and her cool hair-clips on it. He likes playing frisbee, but she doesn't. Only Cyrus does. Andi is creative and enjoys doing arts and crafts that she even made a bracelet for Jonah, but that's all she's ever done for her. Cyrus meanwhile does so much for him more voluntarily.
But they're both males and Andi is a female. Plus, a male and a female fit together like a puzzle. Jonah is a perfect fit for females... at least he thought he is. He likes touching them. But never in his life has he ever thought about touching a male. He think he would've liked it. Besides, he's never done anything with Andi besides holding her hand whatsoever. He likes touching Cyrus though. He always try to touch him. And whenever they touch, The Beck boy wanted it to last long, even for like eons. It feels like a new spark. Cyrus is so warm and he makes Jonah's heart melt like ice cream on a hot sun. But when he and Andi touch, he feels... awkward. As if he didn't like it. He doesn't know why but he wanted it to end. But they are different genders and they have to touch! He can't touch Cyrus!
"What's the use?"
Jonah keeps on walking and turns to his right, realizing he has walked pass his locker. But when he turns around, he meets up with Buffy face-to-face. They collide with each other and Buffy drops her binder. She bends down to pick it up. "Watch where you're going, will ya?!" She grumbled, as if she's having a bad day. Jonah rubs his eyes and watch her stand. Anger was still plastered on her face, but when she looks at the Beck boy, her face softens with concern.
"Oh sorry Jonah, are you okay?" She asked, placing her hand on his shoulder.
Jonah held his breath and looks over at the hand and then back at Buffy. He nodded and pushed past her, speed walking away before she could reply. She called his name, but Jonah keeps on walking. He ducks his head to avoid being noticed by his classmates. As he kept walking, he was looking around to make sure he doesn't miss his locker again. But as he approaches forth, he looks up and notice Cyrus walking by himself.
Once again, that feeling has return inside the Beck boy. He smiled and greeted his friend, "Hey Cyrus!".
The brunette boy turns and waved at him in a goofy way, smiling at him. Oh, that cute smile. Jonah couldn't help but once again adore it.
He watches him walk away, still with a smile plastered on his face. But soon his smile disappeared once the Goodman boy was out of his sight. He doesn't understand why this keeps on happening. What is it that he sees in Cyrus that Andi doesn't?
Later on in the day, after school is over, Jonah was walking home with Andi. Jonah couldn't think of anything. Andi keeps on chatting about how crazy and dramatic her life was and Jonah just only nodded while still keeping his smile on his face. As they walk pass The Spoon, his eyes had shifted towards Amber. He should tell Amber. He should tell somebody! He was so distracted in his thoughts that he didn't realized that he stopped walking with Andi until she waved her hand in front of his face. She noticed that he has been staring at the restaurant.
"If you're hungry we could get something to eat there." Andi said.
"No thanks babe, I'm fine." Jonah said then continues walking.
"Well I'm hungry now. Can't we just stop in for a minute?" She asks.
"You go on ahead, but I have homework to do at my house." Jonah said. She shrugs and enters the restaurant.
He sighs to himself now that he's by himself. As he starts to walk away he felt his phone buzz in his pocket. He pulls it out and smiled when he saw Cyrus's name on the screen. He read his message.
Cyrus: "Hey Joey B, are you still on for practice? :)"
A groan has escaped from the Beck boy's lips. He's forgotten about practice that's coming up today and Cyrus just reminded him about it. Why must Cyrus have to be such a... sweetheart? He can't attend there after a long stressing day... especially with Cyrus there, despite that he loves to see him. That's the last thing he wanted. Jonah texted him that he couldn't make it today saying that he has a lot of homework to do.
As soon as he made it to his house, his mother was in the kitchen making dinner. Without saying a word to her, he went upstairs to his bedroom and lays on his bed, refusing to do his homework. People think that Jonah is always a 'happy-go-lucky' kid. Always seen with a smile on his face, fun, positive, and easy-going. But what nobody knew about him behind closed doors is that he clearly isn't a happy kid, or seemingly the perfect kid they thought he was.
He's not gay, but he doesn't think he's straight either. What if him being a heterosexual was just a facade? The very thought of it ruining his reputation could make his problems even more worse.
But there is a fact that a person who likes both genders are bisexuals... or pansexuals... whatever that means. He drags himself out of bed and grabs his laptop from beneath his bed. He turns it on and went to Google on the internet. He stares at the blank search bar for a few seconds before he starts typing "List of sexualities" and clicks on the first website. It pops up on the screen and Jonah scrolls down to the 'bisexual' section. Who knew that there are so many different options. He realized now that he needs more time to think about this.
"Do I really like Cyrus, or is it just because of personality?" Jonah thought to himself. "Or...what if it's...just a phrase?"
