There was a Demon in Hell, who took much pleasure in torturing the souls that were damned to an eternity of pain and suffering. His job was a pleasurable one. It was an enjoyable job and he had no complaints about it.
But once in a while, the Demon would look up and see the Angels celebrating in Heaven and wondered what it would be like, to live the life of an Angel, to have to do naught but party all day and have pleasant souls at his back and call.
There was no way a Demon could go to Heaven; his kind was forever damned.
Or so everyone thought.
But this Demon was a clever one, and had a discovered secret one night, by cheating ( well how else do Demons play? ) in a game of cards with the High Priest of Hell.
There was a loophole. Just one, and it had its conditions.
First, the Demon had to have the blood of a higher being in him.
Second, the Demon had to have an Angelic counter part with the blood of a lower being in him.
Third, The Angel had to trade places with the Demon in order for the Demon to be able to stay in Heaven.
The Demon grinned when he heard them, and starting thinking about what his Cloud in Heaven would look like.
