The Brothers Flub belongs to Laslo Nosek and David Burke.
Guapo and Fraz had failed to deliver a package that day. Fraz and Guapo were really scared of what Miss Boomdeyay would do to them.
"What if she gives us thirty lashes?" Fraz asked.
"We'd look like drag queens" Guapo shrugged.
"So, boys. How was the delivery?" Miss Boomdeyay asked.
"It was great..." Guapo lied.
"Then why do you look so guilty?" Miss Boomdeyay asked. Both brothers gulped.
"It was his fault!" Guapo and Fraz pointed at each other. Miss Boomdeyay was mad.
"That's okay. I'm sure we can work something out." Miss Boomdeyay said in an uncharacteristically pleasant tone. "I'll just fire you two!"
"WHAT?!" Both brothers were flabbergasted.
"No! Anything but that!" Fraz begged. "We can't get jobs on our planet! Everyone knows we're bad at everything!"
"GET OUT OF RETROGRADE BEFORE I KICK YOU INTO SPACE!" Miss Boomdeyay shrieked.
Fraz and Guapo turned in their uniforms and left sadly.
Guapo was crying as he packed his fruit pits, his dentures, and his tuba into his luggage.
"This was our job! Our reason for living!" Guapo sobbed. "And now it's gone!"
"I'm sorry Guapo..." Fraz sniffled, he packed his master plan into his bag. "Well, I think that's everything."
"Goodbye Retrograde..." Guapo sad sadly. "To the Hoog..."
"Come on, little brother, let's find a new job." Fraz sighed.
Meanwhile Miss Boomdeyay took Valerina, Squish, the Mechanics and that small blue alien girl to her office.
"Now, I just fired the Flubs, because they messed up one too many times." Miss Boomdeyay said.
"I'll kind of miss those little guys." Squish said.
"Yeah, those Flubs are annoying, but maybe you were a little hard on them." Valerina said.
"Silence! If you six mess up too, you'll be fired as well!" Miss Boomdeyay shouted. All of them nodded.
Miss Boomdeyay then sent them out to continue working.
She suddenly saw she left her closet open, she went to close it and saw the picture of the Flubs.
"Don't get sentimental, Miss Boomdeyay, you're better off without them!" She slammed the door.
Miss Boomdeyay remembered when the Flubs first started working at Retrograde. They were about 12 and she was about 18. They were being very kind to her, but she just felt annoyed by them.
One day on Courier's Day. Fraz and Guapo were trying to send a letter to Santa through the automatic Courier's Day mailbox. Miss Boomdeyay smiled and helped Fraz put it in. However, it was just a shredder, where she tricked all of her workers into putting letters.
Another day, she let the Flubs swim in her pool for once. They had trouble swimming then, so they wore water wings. But they got confused and they each put one on their leg. Luckily Miss Boomdeyay corrected them. They wore both wings on their legs and struggled to swim. Miss Boomdeyay laughed at them.
Miss Boomdeyay used to let her employees celebrate Halloween and she even gave them candy while dressed as a witch. On their first night, Guapo and Fraz dressed up as two angry beavers, Guapo being brown and Fraz being yellow. Miss Boomdeyay gave the Flubs buckets of bone-shaped candy. When they left, she laughed at the fact she gave them dog biscuits.
Miss Boomdeyay also decided since the Flubs were so nice to her, she would give them a present. Fraz opened it, he and Guapo were excited that it was a video tape. They popped it in. Guapo excitedly ate chips with Guacamole. It was called "Icy Blue and the seven Goblins." They enjoyed it, until the evil queen gave Icy Blue a strawberry. She ate it and fell down dead, and that was the end of the movie. Miss Boomdeyay laughed at the shocked boys.
When the Flubs were a little older, Miss Boomdeyay accidentally dented Valerina's vehicle. She was worried she would quit if she found out. Then she saw Guapo and Fraz playing baseball, instead of scolding them for playing on the job, she helped Fraz with his swings, then she left and hid. Valerina went to her flying car and saw the Flubs playing baseball. She yelled at them, the two protested but she kept yelling.
Miss Boomdeyay laughed at the old memories, but stopped and frowned sadly. She looked out the window and saw the Flubs in the Hoog. She noticed they saw her too, she could tell how hurt they were. She smiled gently and waved at them.
Both scowled at her and drove away.
