Zak's- P.O.V.
Allison had been in our crew since the beginning. Through out the years she and I started to get very attracted to each other. We never wanted for this to happen, but it did. Eventually we started to date, she was the love of my life, after two years I proposed, but we did not have a chance to get married. Allison grew sick of a deadly disease, cancer. She survived about a year and then past away. I was with her from the start till the finish. From that day on, I knew that I would never love anybody the way I loved her, or maybe not love anyone else at all. In other words my heart was locked. A few years had past by, I continued me life as it was, a single man, a widower.
It was the week of the forth of July. My phone began to ring. It was my sister. "Hello?" "Hey, bro how you doin'?" It was nice to hear my sister's voice. "Hey Anna, I'm fine. How about you?" I said. "Good. Well anyway, I called to ask if me and a friend can spend the forth of July up there in Vegas with you?" She said with a calm voice. "Yeah that would be great. I'm inviting Nick and Aaron too." I said with an excited tone. "Cool! Well we'll be there tomorrow around, uh, I don't know, two-ish?" She said sweetly "Ok. Great. See you then. Bye." "Bye." Our conversation was over sooner than I expected
Anna's- P.O.V.
I was worried for Zak, it was hard for him without Allison. I don't know how he would handle it. I began to pick up my phone to dial Alexis' number. She put up after three rings. "Lexi, he said yes!" I said with excitement. "Oh great! I'll start packing now." "Yeah, that's the best idea. Meet me here at my house in the morning…at 9" I said with a chuckle. "Ok then. Bye, see you tomorrow." She said "Alright bye." I said with a smile although she couldn't see me.
The whole reason I invited Alexis with was so she can meet Zak and maybe some kind of spark will happen between that will get Zak and Alexis together. There was another reason, I kind of liked Aaron. He's sweet, sensitive and ever since he's lost weight he's become a bit of hunk.
