Hi everyone! A while ago, I thought of what might happen if Itachi and some other Akatsuki had actively tried to help Konoha rather then fall with Akatsuki, or if others discovered they were being used by Madara. I don't care what the manga says, if I were Kisame, ditching his village and then serving the Kage he tried to leave unknowingly would annoy the hell out of me, putting it mildly. At any rate, if some one feels like turning this into a proper fic either alone or collaboratively with me please tell me :) I figure it would make for interesting plot.
