A/N: This scene just jumped in my head a few weeks ago so I finally decided to type it on here before I forgot it. Its before Edward realizes he's madly in love with Bella. Thanks to the help of a new born vampire named Elizabeth Edward realizes Bella is the one for him. At the start of the scene Elizabeth had just gone to Bella but Edward stopped her before she talked to Bella to see her side, because her thirst could have gotten bad and she might have hurt Bella. Which proved Elizabeth's point even more.
"Elizabeth what were you thinking?!"
"Well I thought I could help"
"Well you could have killed her!"
"I'm sorry I should have known better, but what was I supposed to do just sit back and watch you not do anything, Edward come on get real."
What was I kidding I knew she was right she may be a new born but she did know what she was talking about. I have to give her some slack.
"I guess it's not your fault"
"Huh? About three seconds ago you were just yelling at me about meddling now what are you thanking me?"
"Its not that it's just your right and I shouldn't just sit back and watch"
"Wait I was right, oh wow you are too easy aren't you Edward?"
"Don't kid yourself"
"You know you love Bella, I know you do"
"What are you talking about, Elizabeth?"
"Well you have saved her life on more than one occasion"
"That was different; would you want a her to be hit by a van in a parking lot full of people and expose yourself to an entire High School because, you can't control your thirst for her?"
"Don't be so rash Edward"
"Even though you weren't there Elizabeth you know that's what would have happened and that's why I did it"
"Is it really or is that just one of the reason's you saved Bella?"
"Not to sound rude of course just curious. Why do you even care?"
"Well I may have not been a vampire very long, but that doesn't matter because I can tell when two people are in love, and neither one of you are really trying very hard and its obvious that she loves you and you love her back. You have to try Edward if she doesn't love you the way I think she does then its over you move on but the way you are going neither one of you will know if its true love unless you go and ask her out."
"How am I supposed to know how she feels I'm not Jasper?"
"You read her mind, duh Edward I'm surprised you didn't think of that. Is someone forgetting their own ability?"
"Oh I guess we never told you"
"Told me what, Edward"
"I can't read her thoughts Elizabeth"
"Oh is that all, you seemed so freaked out"
"It's kind of a big deal"
"Well do you think anyone of the Cullen's, or I can read her mind either?"
"Well I suppose not, but its odd that I'm not able to. Its like a weakness and I don't like it?"
"Everyone else in the world can handle not knowing other people's thought's I think you can handle it. Do you think Bella can read your thoughts? I think not.
"Alright I get it I'll deal with it as if I were a normal human being."
"Good you'll defiantly thank me later Edward Cullen. Wait does that mean you'll ask her out?"
"Yes Elizabeth it does, I'll ask Bella Swan out to a movie or something. Just don't go spread it around that the last thing I need. Ok?"
"YAY!!"
Elizabeth is sure convincing sometimes. Its so odd that she is so calm for a new born.
