Dean was waiting impatiently in the car. Why was Sam so obsessed with finding the other 'special children'? It's probably because he's paranoid about what's going to happen to them. He's like that. Always worrying about everything. He pulled out a beer and turned up the radio.
Sam strolled into the roadhouse.
"Where's Ash?" he asked Ellen.
She nodded towards the other end of the bar.
Due to his height, Sam could see him quite clearly up the back.
Sam yelled out to him, and signed him to come up to the front.
Ash reluctantly followed.
"What d'ya want?" he asked.
"I'm searching for some of the other special children" he explained.
Ash thought he should have known this was why Sam had come.
"I'll getcha a list of names and addresses, don't fret."
Ash left and returned several minutes later.
"I got three" he said as he passed Sam a small blue slip.
"This is just a rushed search, I'll do an in-depth one later"
Sam's heart sank as he read the contents of the sheet.
'Samuel Winchester – No permanent residence
Andrew Gallagher – Guthrie, Oklahoma'
…But something arose inside Sam as he read the last line.
'Sherlock Holmes – London, England'
"Thankyou, so much" he said quickly said before rushing out the bar.
He got in the front passenger seat and gave the sheet to Dean.
"What's this? The demon kids?" he asked as he sat back up.
"It's a quick search on names of those who matched the criteria of the special children. Y'know, nursery fire, mind powers and all that."
"So what?" asked Dean "We already know these guys."
"You didn't even read the whole thing, you jerk"
Sam felt his annoyance for Dean rise.
"Just look at the last one" he said.
"Sherlock Holmes… Posh name there."
"Look at where he's from, Dean."
"London, England?"
"Yeah, all the rest have been in America. Dean, this is something knew."
Dean seemed uninterested.
"I think we should check him out" said Sam.
"I don't swing that way" smirked Dean.
"This isn't funny you know. This could be what helps us find out the demon's purpose for me and the other chosen ones."
Dean rolled his eyes.
"Dean, I think we should go see him."
The look of horror on Dean's face at the idea of flying left a smug smile on Sam's face for the rest of the night.
