Author's Notes: This is what comes from watching too much 'My So-Called Life'. Spoilers for 'Turn of the Screws'.
"Who's Jordan Catalano?" Grissom asked as he and Sara walked down the main drag of the amusement park.
"Hm?" Sara looked around at him, being pulled from her thoughts.
"Jordan Catalano. Lisa said Jim was her Jordan Catalano in high school."
"Oh," she laughed, the sun glinting off her chestnut hair. "He's the heartthrob from this old show from the nineties. It was called… My So-Called Life— that was the name of that show! It was bugging me." She shrugged.
Grissom chewed his popcorn thoughtfully as they walked along in silence. "So if Jim Nevens was Jordan, who was Lisa Hunt?"
"Oh, she would definitely been Angela, Claire Danes' character." She smiled secretively. "You see, Angela and Jordan were sort of this anti-couple; people threw rumours around about them, but in the beginning there was nothing to them. Then Jordan figures out he actually likes Angela… and then the show got cancelled."
"So no one knows what happens to them?"
"Nope. Although I highly doubt they started working at an amusement park in Las Vegas." Sara laughed.
"Maybe they became forensic scientists." Grissom winked.
Sara laughed again, skipping a few steps ahead of him. "You never know; truth is stranger than fiction."
So yeah, that was that, a little GSR at the end, because we all know they'll be together forever, in Borneo photographing monkeys or what have you. This is me capitulating to my writer's block on 'The History Paradox'. I thought maybe a new pairing might unblock me.
