In the hallway of the teacher's wing of the mansion sat a brown haired girl with white streaks, peaking into the keyhole of the room of a very special friend. Meanwhile, inside the room, sitting on a desk chair scrubbing at his nails was a certain grumpy feral mutant. After the whole fiasco that morning, in front of the entire school no less, Logan had retreated to his room after stealing some cotton balls from the medbay, and nail polish remover from the little yellow friend of Rogue's. He was currently working on getting the light pink and shimmery blue gunk off of his nails. He was growling and grumbling the whole time

"This is messed up. I can't believe she did this. Not even revenge for me healing her calls for this. Ah-choo! Ugh!" The fumes were severely affecting his senses. As he got what he thought to be the last of the offensive polish from his nails, his ears caught the faint sound of fast breathing and a high pitched laugh quickly stiffled. He got up slowly, and pretended to put the cap back on the bottle while walking closer to the door. Once he got close enough, he ripped open the newly replaced door and grabbed the little spy by the back of her shirt near the neck. "Gotcha, you little troublemaker."

"Aw, Logan. Where's your sense of humor?" The brunette teased.

"It got lost, like you should be doing after the stunt you pulled. You're lucky I don't tie you up and rinse your mouth out with soap."

"I don't think my mouth is what ticked you off. Besides, you went against my wishes. Anyway, it's gonna take alot more than a threat of a kindergarten punishment to scare me. Mamma used to do that a few times a week and twice on Sunday. But if it makes you feel any better, I promise to never paint your fingernails again." she grinned.

Logan's eyes narrowed. " Fine. But I'm gonna kick your sneaky little behind in training this afternoon." He let go of her shirt and watched as she straightened it.

She nodded. "It's a date, grumpy pants. Meet you in the danger room in 15 minutes."

15 minutes later, the class was gathered in a loose semicircle around Logan. Rogue watched as he barked about respect and decency. He ordered her to the sparring mat and they got into their own stances. As the Wolverine prepared to pounce, Rogue interrupted. "Wait. Because you were talking about it, since I respect you alot, I figured it's only decent if I tell you that you missed a finger."

Logan stopped and looked down as Marie ran out of the room. "RAHHH!"
