Quietly I watch
As my life goes by.
Too shy to say anything,
Too proud to cry.
Decisions made for me
Without my consent.
Never knowing
What freedom really meant.
Locked inside this cage
Of fake happiness and relief.
I'll never know the real me
Is my strongest belief.
Ignored by most
And tolerated by the rest.
I don't have the confidence or strength
To really try my best.
Why can't I be accepted?
Why am I just an outcast?
