Mathias.
It fits.
He's cocky, arrogant, and always so damn cheerful.
I hate the way he smiles and how it makes me feel.
I hate the way I'll notice how his hair ruffles when a breeze whisks by.
I hate the way his voice sounds and how I practically melt when I hear it.
I hate the way he laughs and how it makes me almost crack a smile every time I hear the obnoxious sound.
I hate the way his eyes crinkle when he looks at me, and I hate how I'll get lost in them if I'm not too careful.
I hate the way he always looks in the morning before breakfast; his hair's messy, he's shirtless, and he smirks all the damn time.
I hate the way he won't leave us Nordics alone. He's always bothering Fin and Sverige, but he especially bothers me. And he never leaves my lillebror alone. Ice can never catch a break when that idiot's around.
But Mathias also has some good qualities. They don't necessarily cancel the bad ones out, but they help make him less annoying. I'd never say that to his face, or it'd go to his head and he'd be even more annoying.
But he's kind when he wants to be, like when he brings me breakfast in bed after I've had a late night at work. He's sweet, too. He'll surprise me by taking me to one of my favorite restaurants, or by buying the ingredients to surprise me with one of my favorite Norwegian dishes at home.
Mathias always says I'll fall for him on day.
But what that idiotic Dane doesn't know is that I already have.
Oh, Dane, if you're reading this, you won't be alive tomorrow. Just wanted to give you fair warning.
And I know you kiss me goodnight nearly every evening when you think I'm asleep. Just thought I'd tell you I've been awake for every single one of them.
You're not as secretive as you think you are. And when you whisper to Fin and Sverige about what you tried to do to me the night before, you need to know that you have a very loud whisper. People in England can hear you.
And don't forget, you're practically dead because you've read this. Have a great last day, Mathias.
Jeg elsker deg.
