Athena sat in her throne on Olympus staring down at the world. At the humans and their problems.
Each one thinking they were right and the other wrong. Refusing to listen to each other and fighting a losing battle. When the truth is there is no right or wrong. Even the most 'evil' people had some good in them. No matter how very little there is. Even Adolf Hitler was against smoking, but he killed thousands of Jews and other minorities.
No the world's problems were not black or white, they are the in-between grey shade.
That is why Athena's eyes are grey, because she alone sees the world for how it truly is.
