Nobody ever knew her. Nobody ever talked about her. Nobody ever noticed her. But she noticed things. Strange things, that nobody else saw. Because Gwen was special. She saw Storybrooke, when nobody else could. But she couldn't enter. Then, the year was 1985. Now, it was 2013. Gwen was now 40. But her daughter, Elle, was 12 - the age Gwen had been when she found Storybrooke. And now it was Elle's turn. The difference was, this time, she could enter. And what she found their would change her - and her family - forever.

Christie was a jerk; everyone knew this. But May didn't care; she chose her over me. So I was mad. We were supposed to be friends. I guess that means I had no friends. My mother didn't either. I'm a lot like her. No one liked me. No one even noticed me. But I noticed things, special things. Just like my mother did. She'd found it once, but couldn't enter. But now, 28 years later, entrance was possible. And now, it time for me - Elle Greene - to find it. It was my turn to discover Storybrooke.

My mother had told me only this about the town, "It was just.. a town... a huge town, and it was just in the middle of the woods. I told my parents, and all my siblings, but none of them could see it. Nobody believed me. But I know it was real. There was a sign, on a post, that said, 'Welcome to Storybrooke'. I tried to enter it, but... I couldn't. It was as thought there was an invisible wall, blocking off the town and evryone inside. Everyone else forgot quickly. But me... I never forgot."

It was shrouded in mystery, this town of Storybrooke. I made it my personal mission to find out about it. I googled, "Storybrooke, Maine", but, unsurprisingly, I got no results. So I asked my mother, "Where did you find this town?"

And she said, "Elle, you're not thinking about going, are you?"

"Yes"

"Why? You can't enter."

"It's been 28 years, Mom. Maybe now we can."
