Just a short one-shot I wrote about that L4D2 joke between Francis and Louis, where they joke that "Bill would have shot Nick by now". Non-cannon, L4D/L4D2 Party merge. May have gone slightly over on Nick's personality. Maybe.
The Horde was thinning. After hundreds of infected swarmed the party, the end was in sight. Only a few left.
"Boomer!"
"I see it!"
Boom!
"Well, that's the rest of them." said Nick.
"There's always more, Nick." Bill said with a hint annoyance in his voice.
"Then, Where are they?! They should come a die like the sons-of-bitches they are!"
Louis Spoke up "They were human once."
"Yeah, I think I killed Keith!" Ellis said
Crazed, warped laughter filled the air
"Where is he?"
"On my Head! Shoot It! Shoot it!" Nick screamed.
Zoey quickly took aim, and let loose into the warped creature, killing it and spewing it's brains on Nick's suit
Nick looked in shock at his suit, pink and red with blood and brains. Finally opening his mouth, he screamed a torrent of abuse at Zoey.
"My Suit! You bitch! Look at what you've done! This cost me more than you will even see, you bit-".
Something inside Bill snapped. Nick had compained about everything, from walking through a sewer, and getting blood on his suit. And then to scream at Zoey for saving his life. Enough was enough.
Nick was cut short by a Magnum bullet lancing though his skull, putting even more brains on his suit.
Everyone stood in shock at the brutality that had just occurred.
"What. The. Fuck." Louis slowly said
"Asshole had it coming. Thank me later." Said Bill, Before turning and continuing on to the saferoom
"Called It" Said Francis, with a big grin on his face.
Louis slowly handed him 20 dollars.
