Hello all! This is my first Heroes fic….if you aren't sure, I write mostly drabbles/one-shots. This was one that, obviously, was inspired by Fallout.
Hopefully, you'll all like it, and not flame me for the pairing that, I have noticed, isn't very popular. Claire is the one speaking, and she is talking about Zach.

He had forgotten.
He had changed her.
I had become a human.
Or at least, as human as I could have been.
I was so grateful.
But my father.
He had changed him.
He had made him forget.
He had elapsed all the wonderful times.
He had forgotten the way he changed me.
But I was happy.
I was satisfied with my life.
I liked the way it had turned out.
I was so very pleased.
I never wanted to return to my old self.
Instead, I lost him.
I lost him to his own mind.
And he won't recognize me.
Never again will he be able to smile at me, knowing the real me.
The one who cares about others.
He won't remember me.
He has forgotten.
