Hey people! I know I have been neglecting to add Fanfiction but please be patient! I am going through some hard times right now so please be patient. This One-Shot (Oh my god! It's my first one-shot!!) was inspired by Samantha's 'Our Lives.' This is separate from 'Our Lives' unless Sam decides to include this in her story. Anyways…I hope you like it!

Disclaimer: I do not own Fruits Basket nor do I own Hitomi. They belong to their respected owners.

If you want to know the real story…check out Adventurous Dream Girl's 'Our Lives.' This also contains spoilers for Yang's past so beware!

Yume sighed as the rain pounded on the roof loudly. She raised her wrist over her head, staring at the ruby red river trickling down her arm. The God had separated her and Hitomi.

He described it as: "A period in which my two lovely ladies, Yin and Yang, shall find themselves."

Find myself? Yume thought angrily as she pictured the God's cold eyes. Fucking bastard!

"Koneko-chan…"

Yume could see her sister's eyes. Her eyes were the color of the sea. Those eyes never failed to pull the truth out of Yume. It wasn't a curse but it certainly was hard…keeping secrets that needed to be kept.

Yume rested a delicate hand on her belly. Tears leaked through her closed eyes and tickled her skin. Tomi-channy was at Kazuma Sohma's dojo. She was safe. That was all that mattered.

Yume was slipping into the memories of her past…the past she kept hidden. She could see Kureno…grasping his shaft and thrusting into his clenched fist. It had been a mistake to straddle his waist. He didn't penetrate her but…

She remembered his gasp as he released his seed into her. She should have never been so…so…virgin.

Okay, so she was a virgin. She was sixteen and had not lost her innocence. At least…that innocence.

The memories swirled around her- glad her precious light wasn't present to protect her. The blood…the anger…the…the…hate.

Akito had killed her child. Her unborn daughter.

Yume growled in pain, holding her eyes shut. She felt her body changing into her animal.

The Black Leopard.

"The Leopard is the opposite of the Dove because the Dove has the chance to fly while the Leopard is caged within darkness.

I feel sorry for the Yin Yang girls. Especially Yin. How can she stand to be with someone more despised than the Cat?"

"Stop!" sobbed Yume, crystal tears frozen in her eyes. "Please stop…"

It was okay for them to insult her but Hitomi? Hitomi was the precious light. She could escape…that was enough for her dark opposite.

Yang loved Yin.

Yin was her sister.

She wanted her sister to know about her hidden past. Even if…

She never saw Yin again. After all…

The Beast protects the Beauty.

They live happily after.

It was okay to hope…right?
