HI!! Ok today I was feeling creative so I wrote a few one- shots!! This is the first one I wrote... I hope you guys like it!!!
Gone
Shaking slightly he sat down next to me. I looked him and saw just how sad he was. His pale face shone with tears and his deep blue eyes were rimmed with red. His normally perfect black hair was messy.
"Juliet" He said quietly.
"Yes Artemis?" I asked. Normally I would have called him "Art" or "Arty" but I found this an inappropriate time to do so. He didn't answer just sat there looking forward. He seemed lost in deep thought, as if trying to find to say. I turned away from him and looked across the room to the mirror on the wall. My now short platinum blond hair was pulled back into a ponytail pieces falling out to frame my face. My brow was etched with worry and fear. My bright, emerald eyes were shining with tears.
"Juliet" he said again, I just looked to him.
"She's really gone, isn't she? Dead. We'll never see her again. And we just got her back." A single tear fell from his eye. He turned away.
I looked to the door that led out into the hallway. I heard voices. It opened and swung back as the two people walked in. Mr. and Mrs. Fowl hurried toward me.
"Butler called us. Said that we should come get Artemis." Mrs. Fowl said softly looking at her son.
"You may take him if you want. He is your son. But I wouldn't" I answered looking back at Artemis.
"Juliet, who was she?" Mr. Fowl asked me. I looked back again at Artemis, afraid to say her name. Then I looked back at the Fowls. They're faces worried; they're eyes begging me to tell them.
"Holly Short" I answered.
I watched as Artemis ran out. Mrs. Fowl went to go after her son. But I stopped her.
"No," I said, "Don't do it". I removed my arm. If she really wanted to go she could. But it wasn't what was good for Artemis. He need time to think this out. She nodded and sat next to me.
"I just wish she could've known." I murmured.
"Known what, dear?" she asked me.
"Known how much Artemis loved her."
Ok! That's it. It was defiantly longer than I had intended but... who cares. Really?
