As Emily's bony fingers ran across the piano, she smiled brightly. She started playing tunes from the top of her head and kept the melody flowing through her fingers. Emily loved music. She started to sing along with it to, only to remember where she first heard it from: when she brought Victor to the Land of the Dead by confusion.

"Die, die, we all pass away-do not wear a frown, because its really okay! You might try and hide, or you might try and pray, but we all end up the remains of the day!" She laughed.

"Marvelous! Encore, Encore! Where did you hear such a song?" Asked a tall gentleman, clapping.

"From the Land of the Dead. It also used to be somewhat of my theme…" She smiled.

"Your theme? You had your own theme? That's fantastic!" He smiled.

"Thank you. I finally found what I was searching for in life, so now I am here." Emily said getting up from the piano bench, causing a group of blue butterflies to rest themselves on her gorgeous white and sky blue wedding dress and veil.

"You have been searching for butterflies?" He asked confused.

"No, I have been searching for a husband; I was the bride's maid, never the bride. But then I realized, that was not what would get me here, it was the fact that my ruthless murderer has stopped breathing in his own bed. I stood up for my friend, and I helped him win through the fight. Challenging, but I did. What is your name, good sir?" Emily asked kindly.

"My name, I have seem to forgotten my name throughout my stay here." He said, looking somewhat disappointed.

"My name is Emily."

"Such a beautiful name, fit for such a beautiful girl who has such beautiful talents." He bowed.

"Thank you. Wish to take a scroll around the garden?"

"It would be an honor." The tall gentleman said, bowing his hat to the pretty girl.

In heaven, their bodies were replenished to what they looked like before they died.

Thank you all for reading my first Corpse Bride fan fiction. It's really just a one shot but if a lot of people like it then I may post more chapters for different characters.
