Author's Note:
Hello everyone!
This fic is one where, I have not seen that many out on the interweb. So this is my take on it. I just hope that you guys like it.
Atoll meaning: A ring-shaped coral reef or a string of closely spaced small coral islands, nearly enclosing or closing a shallow lagoon.
The Thesaurus also has Isle or Island within this group and I lean towards that part for this word.
If you guys think of the movie: Blue Lagoon, and the reboot of Blue Lagoon, or the old TV series: Lost, this fic is somewhat like those.
Yes Draco is an Auror in this fic and to be honest, it kind of fits him, in my eyes. Also, I have NO idea where this island truly is, just somewhere tropical.
Anyway, please read and review, Thank you!

Chapter 1.
"Harry, why did you call all of us here? At 3 AM?" Hermione yawned heavily as she tried to hide it behind her hand.
Heavily sighing as he paced in front of his fireplace, a man with jet black messy hair with round glasses and brilliant emerald eyes turned hard at them.
"Yeah, Potter, I agree with Granger on this one. Why at 3 bloody AM in the blasted morning where even Merlin isn't awake yet," Drawled the irritable voice of Draco Malfoy.
"Sorry if I interrupted your damn beauty sleep. But, we have a dark wizard on the loose! The ministry is crawling up my ass to get this mad man off of the streets!" Harry angrily retorted back.
"Who else are we waiting for?" Hermione asked him, fighting off another yawn.
"Ron," Harry growled out, turning his back on them.
Hermione was going to tell him off on his irritable attitude when green bright flames flared up and out stepped a yawning Ronald Weasley.
"Where's the party?" Ron teased them, stepping out into Harry's living room.
"Good, you're all here now," Harry got to business right away. "We got an anonymous call to where Ava Twigs is,"
This made everyone in that dark still room, go quiet and stare at the wizard before them.
"Harry, you're sure that this isn't a trap?" Hermione asked him.
"Yeah, what if it's a trap, let's say and we all become her next victims?" Draco chimed in, not liking this.
"I know, but we've been chasing her for the past three years. I'm willing to put myself on the line to protect my world. We fought Lord Voldemort, we can easily do this," Harry retorted back, glaring.
"If you think we can get her, then I'm in," Ron replied, standing.
Harry looked relieved as he looked at Draco and Hermione.
"Always the bloody Gryffindor," Draco growled out, "I'm in,"
"You're in a room full of them, Malfoy," Ron stated, smirking.
"I said I was in. Don't you hear good Weasel?" Draco sneered back.
"Hermione?" Harry asked, looking at her and stilling the soon be argument between the two wizards.
"I don't honestly like it, I think it's a trap, but, I would like for all of this to end," she voiced to him.
"Yeah, good. Ava Twigs is hold up in an abandoned muggle factory. It's crumbling, so we're going in pairs. Ron and I will be team 1. Malfoy and Hermione, you're team 2. Use your patronus if you get into any trouble. Ron and I will come as fast as we can," Harry informed them all.
"Whoa, wait a minute!" Draco said next "We're leaving, now?"
"I thought you were used to this, Malfoy?" Harry asked him.
Draco glared at Harry and said "Fine, but just so you know, if I get killed, you will be the one to tell my mother of this,"
"What are we 11 years again?" Harry retorted with a smile.
"Quiet, Boy Wonder," Draco huffed.
Harry chuckled as he took out a shrunken scarf belt. Ron took one corner of it as Hermione got up and walked over. Draco heavily sighed as he took another as did Hermione.
"When we land, wands out and be alert," Harry told them all.
They all felt that sensation of whirling around in a circle and then, they were gone.
Hermione landed on her back with the scarf.
Harry, Ron and Draco landed nearby but the drafty smelly dank old brick of the factory that they were in was cloaked in darkness.
"Just …where are we?" Ron asked, getting his wand out.
"In that factory, Weasley," Draco grunted, getting up and withdrawing his own wand.
"No, Malfoy, we're not in the factory….we're in a castle by the ocean," Hermione said, looking around warily.
It was true. They were in a brick old run down castle. In some parts of it, it had gaping large moss covered holes. Hermione was staring out of one those many holes now.
"Those clouds don't look friendly," she commented at the pitch thick black clouds gathering angrily.
"Well let's not just stand around with our thumbs up our asses," Malfoy commented and walked away from the group.
Harry walked over and then stood in front of him "We don't know the layout of this place. I honestly thought it was the factory,"
"Then we continue the plan, Harry," Hermione said, gently taking Draco's arm and pulling him away.
"One of these days…" Ron trailed off as they walked in the other direction.
The castle, by any means, wasn't small. It was a large castle. In some places the roof was missing.
Where Hermione and Draco were at now, they passed through an archway that then lead into a courtyard of some sorts. Draco grabbed Hermione's wrist and pulled back on her. Their eyes locked.
Draco hissed low "Watch your back. We may be in for a fight and if I die, I don't want you to hesitate. Keep fighting,"
"How noble of you," Hermione whispered back.
"I mean it, Granger. Keep fighting," Draco repeated and let go of her arm.
They crept quietly, hugging the wall for safety.
In the other parts of the castle, Harry and Ron were looking around them.
The sounds of waves crashing against the rocks, the wind picking up terribly, the clouds tightening and rolling against each other had Harry's nerves on alert.
Ron locked his eyes with his friend's.
Harry nodded as they approached a clear archway into the front of the castle.
They rushed out but, they didn't see the white figure dart in the direction of where Hermione and Draco were at. The front old iron barred gate slammed down with a nosily thump!
Harry and Ron looked at it and then at each other with "This can't be good,"
Hermione looked all around her as Draco was in front.
Draco stopped. His spine going stiff and straight as he quickly turned around.
"Granger Twigs!" He yelled, darting off after the white figure.
"Malfoy, no!" Hermione yelled back, but took off after him too.
The white figure darted this way and that. Leading them further and further away from the castle and also Harry and Ron.
Hermione was breathing hard. Ava Twigs was leading them away, but why?
The cloak hood fell and revealed the dark red hair that bellowed behind her.
When the three of them entered a more ruined part of the castle, Draco skidded to a halt. Hermione ran up behind him and stopped too.
"Hang on. Something isn't right here," Draco told her, looking around.
It was a large courtyard that was facing the angry ocean and livid sky. A bubbling cauldron with a bright fire was lit under it.
The air crackled and felt heavy.
"What are you two going to do?" Ava asked them, smiling.
Adding something to the cauldron.
"Come to arrest you," Malfoy sneered at her, his wand at the ready.
"Come out and play. I promise I won't hurt you," she sweetly said.
Turning the liquid that was within the cauldron around and around.
"Careful, Malfoy. She's up to her old tricks again," Hermione reminded them both.
Ava's smile dropped and tsked out "Just come out and play,"
"And why should we? What trap do you have out for us?" Draco snarled low.
"Fun ones. Pretty ones. Just come on Draco Malfoy. I know you want to," she cooed at him, adding something else to the cauldron.
Draco stared at her but slowly moved one foot forward.
"Malfoy, are you mad!" Hermione scolded him, pulling him back.
"Granger, what else can we do? Wait for Scar head and Weasel bee? We probably won't have this chance ever again!" He rounded on her.
"That you won't!" Ava sang, cackling.
The cackling made Draco slide in front of Hermione but it was far too late. Their wands went zipping up in a long pergola towards Ava as she took their wands.
Harry and Ron were running. They had heard the echoing sound of Ava laughing.
"Come on Ron!" Harry yelled, his words flying behind him.
"Go! Go Harry, I'll get back up!" Ron said, stopping and then was a loud pop he was gone.
Harry skidded to a halt, looked behind for Ron but then turned back around; running again.
Harry's legs were screaming in protest but, he didn't slow down. He couldn't afford to do so.
Hermione and Draco stared at Ava before they walked out from their cover.
The air and the ground turned green.
Draco looked around and then looked at Ava. She was smiling too sweetly at them.
"What do you want from us?" Hermione asked her.
"Oh, nothing much. My freedom, as well as many others. The Dark Lord returning," Ava listed off her fingers.
"He's dead! Tom Riddle can never come back!" Hermione snapped at her as it began to rain.
"You honestly think that little girl? Do you honestly not know what this is all about?" Ava smirked evilly now at them.
Draco tried to walk forward, but then noticed that he couldn't.
"Granger, I can't move," He informed her, trying to get his feet to move.
Hermione tried to do so as well and replied "I can't either. And without our wands,"
"Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear!" Ava mocked them "What shall you two ever do?"
Fear was starting to trickle into Draco's heart. The green field, it seemed, was glowing brighter and brighter. The sky above them was growing in tense with the rain pouring down heavily; the flashes of lightning bolts broke the darkness as the booming sound of thunder echoed throughout the lands.
Ava tipped her cauldron over, spilling the contents into the green field as it lapped at Hermione's and Draco's feet.
"Augmenulso Dracigeo, Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger," Ava said, her eyes never blinking.
Harry was just a corridor away when he had to shield his face with his forearm as a bright blinding light erupted all around him.
When the light had faded away, Harry saw a window where Ava was at. He saw her dancing around, twirling the two extra wands around as he pointed his and thought a very powerful full body-bind charm.
Several pops sounded as Ron appeared next to him.
"Is Hermione alright?" He asked Harry.
"Their gone, Ron," Harry whispered, walking to the door that lead out into the courtyard.
Ron appeared behind him and he gasped out "Where are they?"
"Gone," Harry whispered sadly now.
Ron couldn't believe it. He didn't want to believe it.
The green light was no more. The angry sky calmed down somewhat but, Hermione and Draco was not there. Only their wands lay pointing towards one another was the only clue. The only clue that they were there.
The Aurors walked carefully out and then surrounded the frozen Ava Twigs as her eyes darted around.
"Ava Twigs, you are here by arrested. For kidnapping, theft, and murder," Harry snarled down at her, casting the light figure eight around her wrists.
The full body-bind charm was undone by the light figure eight around her wrists.
"You will never find them," She smiled at Harry.
"Get her out of here!" Ron snapped at the others.
The aurors took Ava Twigs back to the Ministry.
Ron looked at Harry who picked up the wands of Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy.
"Harry…you don't …you don't think that …their …their dead?" he stammered out fearfully.
"I don't want to think that they are, Ron, but it's a possibility," Harry replied, walking over to the tipped over cauldron.
Very little of the liquid from before was still in it. Harry waved his wand, collected the remaining liquid in a veil and shrunk the cauldron.
Both Ron and Harry then left with a pop.
A dark cloaked figure from a small little island stood there. The long dark red hair waved in the bellowing wind.
