Mirror, Mirror
In a dead castle, a beautiful 15 brushed her hair. The girl had long raven colored hair and a pair of blank blue eyes. She had a perfect body, and wore a black kimono with a blood red obi. But, anyone could see the painful hell she went though. The scars that were imbedded in her skin told all. Hundreds of scar lingered from the chose she was forced into.
The girl happened to be Kagome Higurashi, miko of the Jewel of Four Souls. Kagome sighed. Almost 500 years has passed since she left her family and friends behind to serve him. Kagome growled at the thought of that sneaky spider. He told her that she had to serve him or everyone she love die. Kagome had no doubt he would. He killed her father when she three.
So here she is, a servant to her enemy. She could still remember the looks of anger, shock, and hurt that were worn of her friends' faces when she protected the spider. 'Why Kagome?' The girl closed her eyes to hide the tears that threaten to fall. She did it for them. She couldn't bear to lose someone dear again. But, she could bear to part from them to protect them from that sneaky, double crossing bastard. Kagome looked into the mirror that hung on the wall.
The mirror showed two very different people. One was an innocent girl, who was forced to watch her father's gruesome death at the age of three. The other was girl, who betrayed her friends. Both sides were Kagome. Then another face appeared. Kagome gasped. It was her father. He stared at her and shook his head. Then, he faded. Kagome began to think. Thinking back to the life she had, the life she could never have again.
Seconds later, a crash was heard throughout the room. Kagome grinded her teeth. Her fist was bleeding. Shards of glass were embedded in her skin. Kagome sighed. She walked outside on the balcony, into the starless night. Kagome finally let the tears she was holding back out. "Why? Why can't I do anything right?" Kagome couldn't take it. Her life was supposed to be a life of love and life. But, instead it was a life of hate and death.
Kagome's eyes darkened. A cruel, sick smile made it way on her face. She stood up and pulled out the glass shards. Looking at them, a bloody idea came. Why let that spider live? He doesn't control her. He only wanted to make sure she didn't kill him, because he was scared of her. Turning to face her room, she laughed. But, the laugh wasn't good and happy. It was a sound of hate and murder. 'Ready or not, Naraku. Here I come.'
