This is meant to get my writing juices flowing since I'm stuck. Now I'm not trying to say that JK Rowling didn't do a good job with her own book but let's just say that certain parts, mainly a particular pairing, made no sense to me. So here's how the epilogue would have been had JK allowed me to write it—why she would let me do that I don't know, we are playing pretend here.

Harry waved goodbye to his younger son as he ran onto the Hogwarts express after one of his many red headed cousins. Holding Ginny close he remembered his first time on the scarlet train and looked to his brother-in-law, Ron, who was telling his daughter that he would disown her if she wasn't sorted into Gryffindor.

There were times during his own school days that Harry genuinely believed that these moments would not and could not exist. He would lose hope and believe that Voldemort and his Death Eaters would win and enslave the wizarding world. He did not think that he would get to have children with Ginny or be asked to be the best man at Ron's wedding. They paid a high price, the price of blood and sacrifice to save their world but it was worth it. It was worth it to see Ginny hold their newborn son. It was worth it to see Ron's face light up as he watched his bride, Sabrina, walk down the aisle.

Right now Sabrina held onto Ron's arm tightly as she gazed upon him in admiration and love. She was the perfect cure for Ron's disappointment when his relationship with Hermione proved to be fruitless. The two were just too different; their intelligence levels, personalities, and life goals were in two totally different worlds.

Harry looked around the platform to try and find Hermione sending off her own son but first spied the platinum blonde hair of Draco Malfoy. According to many, the best reward for all their hard work was the change and redemption the war brought about. Draco was already losing faith in the pure blood way of thinking by the Final Battle. Afterwards he did his best to show the world he was a changed man. Many people including Harry were wary to believe the young former Death Eater but the present began to make up for the past. Not long after the Potter wedding Draco became the groom of a muggleborn witch. The world was shocked but the couple didn't care. Despite all the doubt, the obstacles, and of course their history they were happy and in love. Even now Harry could see the love in the young couple's eyes still burning for each other making his own love for Ginny seem dim in comparison.

Draco bade Scorpius goodbye and his wife gave the younger Malfoy a hug and kiss. At this point Harry decided to go greet his old school rival and childhood best friend. "Hello Draco, Hermione. Any bets on which house Scorp will be in?"
