Sooooo...this is my first twilight fanfiction since "My Seth" which was pretty much a huge flop because I had too many ideas and no foundation. For this story I have a better idea of where I'm going. I just want to give a HUGE shout out to the amazingly awesome WOTCHER-TONKSand her amazingly awesome story "Not Sure Yet" theres a link on my profile...GO READ IT NOW!!!!! (Now meaning after you read my story....) so, enough of my ramblings...ON WITH THE STORY!

Disclaimer: I don't own Twilight or any recognizable characters....but I can dream can't I?

It's times like this when I ask myself, why me? What did I ever do to deserve to have everything and then nothing in just the blink of an eye?

My name is Angela Weber and I was once the happiest girl in the world. I had an amazing supportive Boyfriend, Ben Cheney. I had the most fun, encouraging and hilarious best friend anyone could ever ask for, Jessica Stanley. I was going to be majoring in English Literature and the University of Washington. I had a plan.

But as most of us know, sometimes plans don't turn out the way you...well, you planned for.

I just closed my favorite Jane Austin book after my millionth time reading it. It was Valentine's Day and I was going to be spending the day with Ben, the love of my life, all day starting from the end of Ben's shift at Mike's Parents' Sports shop. I had tried working there before but I just couldn't remember what and where everything was. I know absolutely nothing about sports so when someone asked me if the STX Ballhog lacrosse stick was better than the STX Excalibur, I tended to just stare, clueless, at the customer trying to figure out what on earth he was talking about.

I decided to surprise Ben and stop by the shop early to keep him company until the end of his shift. Ben had often complained about how there was nothing to do there but listen to Jessica blabber on about how much she hates Mike Newton, her ex-boyfriend who left to Minnesota for college.

I stepped into the shop where Mrs. Newton greeted me warmly.

"Hey Mrs. Newton. Do you know where I could find Ben?"

"Oh of course he's in the back room organizing our stock with Jessica"

She pointed me in the right direction and smiled at me again. Mrs. Newton was by far the warmest person I had ever met.

I followed the familiar path to the storage closet and confidently yanked open the door.

Instead of being greeted by a smiling Ben or an excited Jessica, I saw Ben's arm snaked around Jessica's waist, his other hand caressing her cheek, fervently exchanging saliva with her.

I gasped, and Ben and Jessica both stared blankly at me, lacking the words to explain themselves.

I calmly united the intricately woven friendship bracelet I had worn since the fourth grade on my left wrist and threw it at Jessica's feet and removed the gold band that Ben had given me during our Senior year of high School and tossed that at his feet as well. Then, I simply turned my back on them, turned my back on my old life, and turned my back on the only stabilities that I had once known, and left the Shop.

So, here I am now. Sitting, alone, on some beach in La Push where so many of my happiest memories once took place. Watching the waves crash on to the sand in a monotonous and somewhat soothing melody, trying to drown out my thoughts.

I hear soft footsteps behind me but I don't turn around.

"Hey! You over there!"

I turn around and see a girl around my age with copper skin, long windswept black hair, and dark, piercing eyes.

Sooo, did u love it, think it's a piece of crap? I will never know if you don't REVIEW!!!!!!!!! (so please do)
