'Deep... deep... They said I had to go deep. What do they mean by that?' All I see are ponies around me, life fading, death nearly upon them. 'What do I do when I can't heal?' I watch as one makes an effort to move, as he reaches to grab a lifeless body, mare. After looking at her, I start to think, and put together the pieces, a loved one. Then, without warning, a bolt of green magic strikes him right in the head. He stops moving all together, still as a rock. I wait to see him breath, or show any sign of life, but nothing moves, only the fur on his back, blowing in the wind.

I turn to see who struck him, and see a figure outlined in flames. Holes through parts of the body, giving away the identity of the heartless freak. Changelings, bugs, no hearts, no care. They feed, then kill. They deceive, then torment. They fear nothing, and give pain to anyone who thinks of stopping them. 'Forget deep, I'm done with every last one of them!' I stand up, weak, bloody, and pain-filled. I watched as my love, Applejack, died right in front of me. My neckless starts to glow, crimson red, the color of pain. Shadows twist around me like a tornado of flames. They stop and stand their ground, I don't hesitate. My anger, my pain, my sorrow, my love, my life, all gone, never heard from again, thanks to these insects. I look at the other elements of darkness, they are all in a big bloody mess.

I look down, and laugh, this is all a dream, this can't be real. I look at the beings that are in front of me, now mounds of carcasses. Nothing remains, except the queen. The queen's head now stuck on top of a wooden stake, and her body, was mince meat.
