I watch as you walk towards the door that will take you away from me forever

Why did it have to be this way?

Why must the hero always sacrifice himself for the good of the world?

It's not fair

You never had a chance

A chance to live a full happy life

A chance to grow old

You died at such a young age and now you must die again

What was the reason?

What was the reason to return only to leave once again?

You don't deserve this

You spent what little life you had saving the world

To come back to the world only to leave the ones you have come so know

I don't think it was

Why can't you stay?

I don't care about what the others would say

I don't care what they would do to me

I don't care who gets mad

All I won't is you my yami, my other half, my Atem

I wish I wasn't the one to win that duel

Then maybe you could stay

Never see those dark, all seeing crimson eyes looking back into my soft childish amethyst

Saying I'll miss you is an understatement

The others will never truly know how much it hurts to watch the other part of your soul walk away
