Sebastian Smythe transferred to WMHS in January, 2012. He left the Warblers because he wanted to be closer to Blaine and the only way that was going to happen was if they were at the same school. He was the reason he transferred to Dalton in the first place. He was in Carmel, Vocal Adrenaline, one day him and his secret boyfriend Jesse decided to go check out the "competition" during Sectionals. Sebastian isn't gay… he's bisexual and so is Jesse. When he first saw the Warblers perform, he knew he had to meet the lead male singer, Blaine Anderson. So he asked his very rich father to transfer to Dalton Academy, saying he needed to shine, Vocal Adrenaline was drowning his stardom and so he did.

He searched through his closet, he had so many clothes he didn't know what to wear. 30 minutes and 10 replays of 'Moves Like Jagger' later he chose an outfit, like always, he look amazing on it. No one, except the warblers, knew he was transferring, so he had to prepare himself. That Kurt Gay-gi-di -gay Hummel was gonna be there, watching over them, seeing his gay face was gonna be tough but if it was for Blaine he'd do it.

"-Dad, going to school now, bye."

"-Goodbye son" - Sebastian lost his mom when he was 1 so he can't really remember her very much. His dad was engaged to a much younger woman, Veronica, they weren't the best friends, she thought Sebastian was just a stupid high school kid, full of dreams that were going to be dashed soon as he went into college. He wasn't close to his dad either, probably cause he spends the days travelling with his fiancé to places such as Italy, France, due to his work.

Sebastian got into his Ferrari and drove away. He kept thinking: "What if they don't accept me in New Directions? I mean yeah they're a joke but Jesse told me they were very suspicious when he joined in…" He parked his car and got out. He noticed all the girls looking at him whispering "who is he?", he had a big effect on girls and he knew it, he was open about his sexuality and wouldn't take crap from anyone, if he wanted something, he was gonna do everything within his possibilities to get it!
