The hospital lights were transitioning to dim. It was well past 10 o'clock. In one room down at the end of the hall, a motionless Tifa Lockheart lay. She was on her deathbed. There was no question about. It was a wonder how the others have yet to figure it out. Everyone knows there is a rule in life, one that says that if you want someone to rise from the dead, you must be willing to sacrifice your own life.

Aeris was back. Even though the emotional pain hurt Tifa more than the dying, she knew that Cloud could never find a place for her in his heart. It only belonged to one flower girl. So she gave up. There was nothing in life for her. When Marlene left with Barret, Denzel was so upset over losing his best friend, he turned into an empty shell. No one bothered to talk to her after the defeat of Sephiroth. She was all alone. Denzel was rarely around anyway. So she did the only thing she could. She gave up.

And gave it all to him.

For him.

The doctors all rushed in the room at the sound of the beep. They tried all the could, but they all knew, ever since Tifa Lockheart came into the hospital, there was nothing they could do. She had made a deal with Satan. One that could not be broken.

The Angel stood before her. Angels looked almost no different from humans. All they had was a bluish tint to them. This one's eyes were all black, with doesn't come as a surprise, considering the fact that it was an angel for the devil.

"You want to see your friends, do you? You know, the two, the blond and the pink-attired one, they are getting married. No one knew where you were, so you couldn't have possibly gotten an invitation." Tifa's head hung low. The Angel reached out and tipped her head up. "I know your secret Tifa Lockheart. Don't be so sad, luv. I mean, you could have been selfish, and kept Cloud all to yourself. You could have left that ancient to rot in that 'lifestream.' Well, if you must see, today's the day."

A blue light overtook Tifa's vision. The next thing she knew, she was in Aeris' church. Except, it was different. It was rebuilt. Rows and rows of people all sat in seats embroidered with beautiful beads. The whole room was decorated in white and gorgeous decorations. At the front, there was an altar, with a priest.

There he was. Cloud. Looking more handsome than ever, if that were possible. Next to him was Cid. Then came Vincent, and standing a little off to the side was Red and Cait Sith.

Elmyra was sitting in the front row, happier than ever, at her foster daughter's important day. Then, all the heads turned to the back as the music started to play. The first person to come out was Marlene, in a darling dress, throwing white rose petals out of a blue basket. Out came Yuffie and Shera, in flowing, white bridesmaid dresses. About ten seconds later came the prettiest of them all.

Aeris came out in a gorgeous dress, highlighting her petite figure. Walking her down the aisle was Barret, in a tux, bawling his eyes out. It was a little scary to see such a built man crying. Practically everyone in the church was in tears.

The next was a blur to Tifa. All she knew was that one second Aeris' face was covered with a beautiful veil, and next thing, the priest was saying, "You may now kiss the bride."

Everyone started cheering as Cloud and Aeris looked into each other's eyes, and gave into a long, passionate kiss.

"Alright," Tifa said, "that's enough." And she left to the Underworld, without one more word.
