Chapter one: Midnight attack
In this quiet town when everyone else is sleeping, when every street and alley is empty and silent is the time when she survives. A shadow climbed the barbed fence nimbly and swiftly, then dropped to the ground silently and crept into the kitchen of a restaurant. She could smell the delicious aroma of food and pastries, she flicked out a box of small match and lit one, holding it up it illuminated the small kitchen showing leftovers of sandwiches and meat. Grinning with delight, she begun to stuff them into her pockets and a small bag for her hungry family.
Night time can be dangerous; she knew that mutants would be out searching for food. Mutants, the ex-humans who did not survival radiation. Her world is now divided into three sections. The vampire being at the top, the humans at the second level, supplying food and blood for the vampires, and then the ex-humans at the bottle of the pyramid. She stayed crouched behind a tree for a long time, listening to the surrounding area, she learned to listen to the rough breathing sound of the mutants and she had learned to scramble up to high places where they couldn't reach. But each night, she has to be cautious. There was no one, she decided and started to make her way back when a heavy weight dropped on her and knocked her flat to the ground. She crumbled to the ground with a painful thud and came face to face with a pair of blazing crimson eyes.
