"Bubbles"
I see your face and tremble,
An attempt to speak to you I mumble,
To walk up to you I stumble.
My palms begin to condensate,
My breaths match my heart rate,
You put me in an awkward state.
I look into your onyx eyes,
I lose myself!
You make them rise,
Foaming,
Boiling,
Fizzing,
Rising deep within.
I hear your velvet voice,
And they begin.
I see your statuesque face of stone,
Oops!
There they go!
These bubbles have a mind of their own!
They flip and flop,
They stutter and hop,
I can't make them stop!
These bubbles of mine,
They are one of a kind!
My tummy,
Is yummy,
For a butterfly,
To frolic and play
Throughout the day,
Making me pray,
"for my bubbles!"
I'd say.
