Pokémon XD Kanto and Orre Unite!

Edit: As of this date these chapters have been edited. It's nothing plot changing or such, I only felt that I could improve on what I've done. And believe me, looking back at previous work...let's just say it's not great...so hopefully you enjoy my restructure and I can better convey emotion, story, and any other basics that every writers live to express with their work.
Universal Guardian or UG: Hi Everyone UG here with my first ever story on . So after looking at some of the Pokémon XD/ anime crossovers I realized that Pokémon XD doesn't get noticed much so I decided to do my own thing, hopefully you'll like what I attempt.
Jovi: Is it Jovi's turn yet to speak?
UG: Oh and I forgot to mention that Jovi, Michael's younger sister will be giving me a hand.
Jovi: How about now?
UG: So yeah not much to say or do now so…Jovi?
Jovi: Hmm?
UG: IT"S YOUR LINE!
Jovi: Oh, let's get this story started!
Disclaimer (whatever that is) I don't own any part of the Pokémon franchise. I also don't own any music if I ever use any.
Chapter 1: Prologue
The night was an endless shadow, lit only by the shining moon. The only sounds capable of hearing were the scampering around of Pokémon that resided in the area, but other than that a pen dropping could be heard, as a man sat alone on a stone surface. . His outline was almost indistinguishable from the darkness, but if focused enough one could make out the darkened blue hair with strands that stuck out, and the dark gray robe with blue sleeves covering his clenching fist. The only thing that could not be made out was his eyes, protected by his black visor. His eyes however were not a sight to behold, bloodshot and filled with nothing but madness as the man recalled the events that led to this moment.
"Ursaring, use brick, break!" a red haired boy called as the man's Heracross was defeated by the boy's . After the loss Ardos swore the boy would be eliminated for ruining the plans of Cipher, the criminal organization known for creating Shadow pokemon, the ultimate fighting machines. Expecting his father, no the Grand Master to finish him off, he left. When he got word the battle was taking place he went to the arena to see the crowning moment, only to be set ablaze with fury. For right there from across the child was his father on his knees, eyes blank, crushed by a devastating loss. In a moment of quick thinking Ardos tried to persuade the self destruction on Citadark isle, killing off hundreds of Cipher henchmen just to stop this child's meddling. But that's the exact same time when his brother Eldes, the weak minded fool stepped in.
"Father, please. We were in the wrong. We must stop this." Eldes preached to the traitor. Unfortunately his father listened, and in domino effect Cipher was disbanded. But Ardos didn't give in. Instead of turning himself in he left Citadark Isle with one thing in mind, ridding the world of the pest who thwarted their plans. And so he waited in hiding, patiently anticipating when such a chance would arise.
Such a time did come, at the newly revived Orre Colosseum. But despite fighting with all the rage he could muster the only thing he could do was watch in disbelief as each of his Pokémon fell at the hand's of the child's strength. Defeated and humiliated Ardos fell to his knees, no differently than his father had after his own loss. It seemed as if the world has come crashing down in his place and all we could do was bear witness to it. He remained in that position for a moment, only being able to contemplate it all. His plans, family, and his father's work. All of them, completely ruined.
But slowly he rose from the ground and did the one of the strangest acts one could do in the situation. He raised his head to the sky and laughed, as if it showed a display of humor and oddity that one could not help themselves but do so.
The laugh struck the boy as odd, as raised an eyebrow in confusion. Even Eagun, head of the Colosseum looked on in worry. the pair were the only ones able to take notice of the strange occurrence. The crowd hardly noticed it as they carried on cheering, conversing with one another, and overall not being able to hear the words that came between the two competitors. Then amongst the many thousands of voices in attendance Ardos finally spoke.
"You think you've won?," He spoke as he still chuckled. "You believe any of this to be truly over?" Ardos asked. Still shaking in small fits he brought his face down from the sky, his eyes uncovered, now revealing a menacing death glare. If looks could kill then that gaze would have come as close as possible to doing so.
"You've only delayed the inevitable of this region's demise!", roared Ardors as his voice grew louder. "Keep this in mind! As long the masses rely on a single child to halt us in place, our succession is absolute!" Ardos exclaimed. He exclaimed these words with in no ordinary fashion. Behind these words there was the bloodlust.
Suddenly he returned to his spontaneous laughing outburst. "But enjoy the celebration while you can, and fulfill the delusions of these people. Enjoy your time reveling in their obliviousness. For when we do return and take our rightful place on top, it will truly be the crowning achievement in Cipher's long history". Then with nothing left to say and not even waiting for the child's response, he left the arena, then he left Orre. His family gone, his pokémon defeated, he could do nothing but wait as his dream came to fruition.
And so almost a year had passed as Ardos recalled this. He had not spoken to his father or the feeble minded traitor that was his brother. Slowly his thoughts turned to a new focus, Michael. The very bane of his existence. The one who single-handedly ruined all that he had hoped to achieve. If there was anything he knew it was that, that one child as tarnished everything. Someone seemingly harmless had managed to simply ruin his entire aspiration for power.
As he chuckled to himself a wicked grin came across his face. The past no longer mattered now, not one bit. Now was the time to look toward the future and soon he knew the boy would be rid of, because like Ardos there were many allies who wanted the same thing.
One of them stepped forward a put a hand to his shoulder. "Ardos we've finished the reprogramming, they're waiting for your orders," Spoke a gentle female voice.
Ardos turned to face her. She has long pink pigtails that reached her legs in length. She wore a light purple dress with white on the sides. Her white gloves fiddled with her goggles used to protect those shining green eyes that clearly showed her exhaustion.
"Perfect Lovrina, now that the stages are in order we can begin phase 2" Ardos said as he spoke to her
Lovrina shook her head and crossed her arms. "You still haven't told anyone what that is." came her response.
"Have you not guessed yet? We are here in the Kanto region because one man has research he has not shared with the world. I've had a few spies watching him because his work could be the very piece to our puzzle. All that's truly left now is to gain his findings and use them along with what we've already been working with.. "
Lovrina thought for a moment on who could be that important. Her eyes got wide as she realized who Ardos was referring to. "You mean were here for..." She began.
Ardos looked to the moon gazing down on the world. Soon Cipher would represent that position, the world looking up to them, either in allegiance or total fear.
" Yes we're here for him .The most famous authority on Pokémon, Professor Samuel Oak.
UG: Okay so there we go. This isn't actually the first story I planned on publishing, but the first one still has some kinks I need to work out. So I hoped you liked the beginning. Any constructive criticism you feel needed please tell me, because I'm still a rookie in this field. Sorry if the beginning seemed short or lacking in whatever you believe it to be.
Jovi: Where was the huge fight? The battle between the goodguys and the badguys
UG: Uhh. Jovi it's the first chapter.
