Kevin Ryan has a little… hic. big problem; this little big problem has… hic. been pestering him for six hours… Well, you're probably curious about… hic. what a little big problem… hic. is. Here is the explanation, a little big problem is… hic. a problem that from an outsider's point of view seems to be… hic. a little problem, but to the person who is actually suffering… hic. from the problem, the problem is a big… hic. one. Examples of little… hic. big problems would be: Being thirsty, having allergies against feathers and… hic. yes, hiccups.
Ryan grinned at his internal explanation of his problem, but there was one problem… he's sure that he abused the word 'problem'… He ran through his train of thought again and made the decision that he most definitely did overuse the word, probably because he never took the trouble to read anything other than police reports and his TV Guide... Perhaps Castle would have a better explanation being a writer and everything… Then again Castle was an idiot and the two kind of canceled each other out…
Hic. Damn it.
There is only one solution…

Javier Esposito had a big little problem; this big little problem has been pestering him for six months… Well, you're probably curious about what a big little problem is. Here is the explanation, a big little problem is a problem that from an outsider's point of view seems to be a big problem, but the person who is actually suffering from the problem tries to make the problem seem small and insignificant. Examples of big little problems would be: wetting yourself at work, having a roadkill couch and being in love with your cute, adorable, puppy-like partner.
Esposito frowned at how his mind tried to make his problem seem ordinary and totally normal and how he couldn't seem to find a synonym for the word 'problem'… it was probably a result of spending too many nights playing video games with his cute, adorable, puppy-like partner. Perhaps he should ask Castle… or he could finally get that thesaurus which his grade three teacher tried to convince his parents to buy… Asking Castle would cost his pride, getting a thesaurus would cost his salary… And there was still the big little problem that he had to deal with…
Oh… gorgeous blue eyes…. Damn it.
There is only one solution…
.
Esposito spun his chair around and pressed his lips to the very confused detective behind him.
Both problems solved.
