-Phantoms-
Teyla grunted when John pulled her up, out of the hiding place.
He was still imagining things, and he kept repeating a code of sorts into his radio. Teyla was still unsure of what he was hallucinating about.
He pulled her along, taking most of her weight because he was much taller than she was. They were walking fast, heading for the cave with the Wraith technology in it.
Teyla felt dizzy because of the blood she had lost. It wasn't much, because John had bandaged her leg quickly, and it had stopped bleeding a while ago. But because of the movement, and the pain, she felt weak, dizzy and nauseous.
She wobbled slightly, stumbling. She would have fallen to the ground if it wasn't for John. He caught her in time, and didn't hesitate to pick her up.
He carried her the rest of the way to the cave, telling her to hang on, and that he didn't come all this way to watch 'him' die.

Some time later…
John and Teyla sat next to each other. John had just turned off the radio, telling Elizabeth that they would be fine, and that she didn't have to send reinforcements.
Rodney complained again, about being shot – by John.
They all laughed – expect for Rodney.
Teyla asked John if Captain Holland had made it, but he had not. She felt sad, that John had gone through all of that, but failed to save the man.
John being John, he didn't show any sadness, or anything else. Teyla reached for his hand, squeezing it softly.
John turned his head, and smiled at her. He sighed, ducking his head, and closed his hand around hers. He told her to get some sleep, he would take watch.
Teyla was going to object, but her eyes were already drooping, and her leg ached, so she leaned against him. She sighed softly, and felt his arm coming around her waist.
They made it out alive, thought not without hurting – whether physically, or emotionally.
But they survived, and in the end their team would only grow stronger because of this.
Ronon having to deal with the Wraith hunting him, chasing him, ever since his childhood.
Rodney having to deal with failure, of not being able to fix everything, even though he was a genius.
Carson having to deal with death, of not being able to save everyone.
John having to deal with his past, memories he would never forget, and losses he had to live with for the rest of his life.
And Teyla, she too had her problems, even though she did not have to deal with it today, being unaffected by the Wraith generator. And even though she had saved them all because of it, it felt more like a curse than a blessing. Her Wraith DNA was still something she had to learn how to live with.
She was not like them, she knew that. But still, there was a part of her that made her related to them, that made it possible for her to communicate with them.
And that part scared her, in a way she would never admit to anyone. Not even to John.
One day – she would have to face her fears, just like her team mates. And to learn how to deal with them.
The End.
Thanks for reading! :D
