Prologue

August 27th, 1930 09:17 p.m.

Ontario, Canada.

"It's been three years since the incident that tore my family apart, but also rebuilt it. The pressure of knowing he was still out there, got to me. I had to get away from the pressures in Alaska, it seemed like the only way to keep my children safe. I just couldn't help feel danger in my old home with my parents and siblings, so I decided that it would be safest to go to a place where I knew nobody, and nobody knew me. This, however, turned out to be untrue. As it turned out, I had made an unruly reputation for myself, and not a good one at that. I ended up taking the spot for the Most Wanted in the dog community, my bounty was an incredibly high number, and I luckily ended up in a part of Ontario where the population and heat was low. However, this would very soon change, unbeknownst to me."
