Daisuke's And Riku's Walk In The Park
It was just another weekend day in the niwa family house as Daisuke wakes up for his date in the park that he and Riku have been planning out all week. He was worked up because lately every one has hassled so much that he hasn't been able to spend some alone time together. Well all went well as he went and got ready for the date, but as he was leaving his family gave him the weirdest feeling. Confused he left.
They meet at the fountain where Daisuke usually goes to clear his head. Daisuke took Riku and embraced her whispering in her ear that no matter what the day wont go wrong. Little did he know but his family had decided to at the last moment to send another one of the warning notes saying that Dark was to steal an artifact that had just came in, The Flute of Promises. The walk went ok until he saw his grand in the bush peeking. Sneaking up To him he confronts his grandfather on the issue his privacy. The grandfather informs him of the flute. Shocked Daisuke leaves knowing he's going to have to let Riku wait soon for it was 3:00 P.M. and the time was set at 4:00 P.M. . As he got back to Riku he lies and tells here he was using the rest room. They get back to there day that went so smoothly. They had ice cream, played tag, and did all sorts of activities until the bells for the time struck 4:00 P.M. .
With that Daisuke asks Riku to wait for him said he had to go get something first. Riku agrees but gave a look to Daisuke that said to him that her day had been ruined. Running in tears, but with out showing her he heads to a secluded area in the park to turn to Dark. Sensing Daisuke's troubled mind, Dark reassures him he would make it fast. But fate took its course and had made it not so.
All went well as first when he got the flute, but Daisuke made a terrible mistake. He decided not to head home but to the park where Riku awaited. While heading there Satoshi pops out from behind the tree. As usual Satoshi was trying to capture Dark. Forgetting about his promise to Dark Satoshi attacks daisuke injuring him bad. Then Dark pulls through to save the day. The sun was setting and he needed to tend to his injuries but the thought of Riku hating him gave him the strenght to carry on.
Riku was walkin the the path home sun half way below the Earth as she headed home. Just then in the distance she sees the figure of a boy holding a flute. The sun was in her eyes but she could already tell it was Daisuke. She gasped as Daisuke played the sweetest song for her.Just as he finished the song he collaspes from exhaustion.Riku runns to him only to find him battered badly. Daisuke whispers I'm sorry i ruined your day and broke my promise. Riku then comforts and reasures him that he had kept his promise and that it was the best day she ever had. She then kisses him on the cheek. Then with that Daisuke blacks out.
The next day Daisuke awakes in his house. Daisuke asks about the flute and was told that the enchant ment had finally broken. That the flute caused many travisties to try and stop the user from keeping there promise, and that there was omly two ways to brake the curse its to make it through all the travisties and play the song of promise or to seal it away. Knowing this Daisuke left to his room smiling. Going to bed to heal he recieves a call from Riku only to get scolded by Riku.
