Just say "Mercy"
Chapter 1
As I stepped into the clearing at area 69,
waiting for my brother Conrad to approach from behind the bushes I
heard it. It was an ear-piercing scream that you would have thought could shake the world, but, of course, that would be impossible.
"Conrad!" I screamed. "Conrad where are you?" It feels like four walls are closing in on me, while all I could do is sit there, suffering, sit there watching. I quickly pulled out my asthma inhaler and took deep breaths.
Where could Conrad be? As if on cue, I heard it, I was certain. There was a wicked scream, one after another. "Mercccccccccccccyyyyyyy!"
I couldn't bear it. Something had to be done. I steadily heaved myself up off the clearing floor, Conrad's screams echoing in my ears.
Chapter 2
Some say an adventure is the meaning of life, now, i would say something along the lines of "Life only screws with your family and emotions."
That would be true. Running through the thick clumps of bramble and pine, I find the tall oak tree where I had parked my yellow and purple polka dotted bike, unlock it, and hop on. Pedaling as fast as I can I realize I have no idea where i'm planning to go. "Nowhere and everywhere" I think to myself.
