Tomorrow I'll Be...
by Yamato-chan

"That time when I had a dream seems so far away
I feel like crying more than anyone knows
Too clumsy to convey my feelings
I try to pretend to be strong"

Sora was alone. She was tired, she was scared, she was lost. She had been in an automobile
accident. The driver, her boyfriend, had been killed. She was numb, battered and bruised. She
fell to her knees under a tree. She was too tired to go on.

"But if I'm all alone in this world
And love disappears instead of tears
I won't hang my head, I'll fly away
Tomorrow I'll be closer to that dream I held"

Sora sobbed. Her throat began to ache in the cold. She had lost her love, she had even
lost herself. Where was she? She thought of her crest from when she was 10. Love couldn't help
her now. She didn't have any.

"The journey is long and sometimes painful
People are just so small
My weakness suddenly makes me unable to see
Even the meaning of my being here"

She sat up and hugged her knees. "Why did this happen to me?" she said bitterly. "I've
no reason for living." She looked up at the sky, filling up with stars. She sighed, and fell
once more.

"But if I clear my heart
Someday I'll surely find a love I want to fill it with
I won't give up, I'll fly away
Tomorrow I'll get stronger for someone's sake"

She woke up to someone sitting beside her. It was Kari Kamiya, Tai's younger sister.
"Sora, what happened?" the girl asked. Sora explained the wreck and her night alone. "I live
not to far away. I saw you on my way through the woods. I hike every morning." Kari told Sora.
She helped Sora up and they walked back to Kari's house. "Kari," the hurt girl began, "Your
crest really was meant to be light." she smiled. Kari laughed. "I think yours went well with
you." she smiled. Sora hung her head. "I've got to get through this alone I guess." she sighed.
Kari frowned. "Sora, any of the Digidestined will help you. No matter what."

"But if I'm all alone in this world
And love disappears instead of tears
I won't hang my head, I'll fly away
Tomorrow I'll be closer to that dream I held"

Sora was staying at Kari's house until she felt well enough to try again. "Maybe someday
I'll actually start a family and forget this." Sora sighed. Kari patted the older girl's
shoulder. "Of course you will. I'm right behind you every step of the way." she promised.

Ok, that's depressing. I'm sorry, it's all I could think of. Hey, it's been a bad day for me. I
have dangerous mood swings...
