Meeting the Parents Over Thanksgiving Dinner!
"Thank goodness the boys are keeping Mike out of here,or else we would have no turkey left,Ji,"I said aloud."Exactly why we made two turkeys,"Ji said."True,"I said."Your nervous about something,Emily,"Ji said."I know.I meeting Jayden's mom tonight and I'm freaking out!"I said."I know,but I know she'll love you,Emily,"Ji said,"trust me.""Thanks,Ji,"Emily."The cookings basically done,"Ji said,"Why don't you go and get ready?I can finish up here.""Thanks,Ji,I'll get ready now,"I said,hanging up my apron.I walked ovewr to my room and tripped over something."I heard a bang coming from in here!"I heard Jayden yell."Down here!"I helped me up and left me alone to get ready.I wore a yellow pencil skirt with a white dressy tank top with ruffles on the chest,a yellow cardigan,and yellow strap heels.I did a smokey eye shadow witha light pink lip gloss.I put small dimond earings in my ear,but I decided to take them I put on the neaklace Jayden gave me for my birthday,a small yellow chain with a ruby heart pendant.I put my hair partly up and partly part that was down was curled and the part that was up was braided neatly.I was super nervous about meeting Jayden's mom,and I'm sure Jayden was even more nervous about meeting my dad.I knew everyone's family's would be here tonight and for the rest of the weekend,if there isn't any trouble.
About an hour later,there was a knock at my door."Come in!"I walked in the door."She's here,"Jayden said."Well that was a nice hello,"I said."Sorry,nervous much?"Jayden asked."Kinda,"I admited."Trust me,you have nothing to worry 'll love you,"Jayden reasured."I sure hope so,"I said.I took his hand and he led me to the living mom loved me right my dad warmd up to Jayden liked Jayden,and so did my mom.
When time for the dinner came,everyone had a good all ate and chatted and it was a good ,Jayden stood tapped his glass like they would at weddings."If I could have your attention please,"Jayden said,"Since this is a time to be thankful for what we have,and not what we so we can be thankful for the ones we one's we care the one's we want to spend forever I need to ask you this Emily,(get's down on one knee)would you make me the happiest man on earth right now in front of all our friends and family,will you marry me?""Yes,a million times yes!"I reached up and kissed slipped the ring on my finger and everyone started gushing.I learned later that Jayden had met my dad earlier in the week to talk to him about marrying me.I wasn't mad though,because it made me happy that we would be one big happy family with a Christmas Wedding!
