Bubblegum and golden blonde
The two could never get along
One would beg - the other laugh
But the love she desired
Could never last
The one who he needed
Said she'd never need him
But the two were altogether
The two best of friends
It's hard to imagine
The sights one could see
If they came by the lash-logs
After the two lost the three
For it was there that they laughed
And t'was there that they played
In the darkness of twilight
In shared affections they bathed
It was all just shared grief
They would nervously say
Even while'st holding hands
Giving blushed looks away
Everyone but them
Seemed to see what they shared
But s'long as they were together
The two simply could not have cared
For it was his arms that so warmed her
And her touch led his way
So it was no great surprise
When he asked her to stay
It was there in that evening
That such words were passed
It left the two in a state
Where their last barriers - finally crashd
It was his arms that so warmed her
And her touch led his way
As the two friends became much more
In the most natural way
It was his arms that so warmed her
And her touch led his way
Down the quaint rode of life bonding
Where the two lovers would stay.
(AN: Man you have no idea how tempted I am to not post this right now. I'm extremely critical of my poetry,... and I fear that I may look it over once my buzz is gone and decide to pull it. If I do though, kudos to those who catch it. If you don't like it, don't flame alright? I'm... fragile. -sniff-)
