It had only been a month since they had been together and yet Ava had her doubts about their relationship. She had been in many relationships before Peter but being with Peter was different. There was something about Peter that made her feel right inside, like her whole world was complete. Ava sat on the ledge of a building, patrolling the city.
"What if we were never right for each other?" Ava thought. "What if I was only kidding myself into thinking that this could work?" It wasn't like anything did happen to make her think this way, it was just her doubts and insecurities creeping into her mind. She had seen Peter talking to some other girls and she had gotten jealous.
She was so deep in thought that she didn't notice a person sitting next to her until this person spoke to her. "What is wrong my friend?" the voice asked. Ava looked to her right and saw it was Danny a.k.a Iron Fist. No one in the team knew that the two were dating, so it would be difficult to explain what had made the girl so upset.
Ava took off her mask and bit her lower lip, thinking. How could she tell Danny that she was dating Peter? She had known Danny longer than Peter and she had a feeling that Danny had a crush on her. "It's nothing," Ava says, putting her mask back on.
"Are you sure, my friend. You seem upset about something," Danny says, as he continues to look at her.
Ava looked at Danny and says, "I wished I could tell you. I wish I could." With that she got up and left to patrol the city more. When she got back to the helli-carrier, she went into her room to find a note on her bed.
The note said: Dear Ava,
I love you and I want you to know I will never leave you. I will never cheat on you.
Your boyfriend,
Spiderman
When Ava read this, she began to cry as she sat down on her bed, clutching the note in her hands. "I'm sorry," Ava said, crying, "I ever doubted you. It was just a stupid mishap that I could ever be jealous of those girls when I know you're mine."
"That's all I ever wanted to hear," a voice said. Ava looked up to find Spider-man, still in his costume except the mask was off to reveal his face. Before she could react Spider-man kissed her.
"I love you," Peter a.k.a Spider-man says, before kissing Ava again.
Hope you all liked it! This is by the way my first Ultimate Spider-man fanfic and I can say I'm kind of proud of it. This is also for my boyfriend, even though, I can say this has nothing to do with any situation (concerning us) at the moment.
