"So what now?" asked the blond "should we stay in central or-"
"No, we're not staying in Central." Said Greed, using my voice. "That's the first place Wrath is going to look for me, and if we stay close to the lines of the giant transmutation circle it'll be easier for Pride to find us."
"I think Resembool is about fifteen kilometers from one of the lines, but we can't go there, it's too obvious."
"Yeah, it's so stupid, perfect! Good thinking kid, just what I want out of my new crony." Greed said patting a very dumbfound Edward Elric on the head, which of course led to a short rant.
"WHO ARE YOU PATTING ON THE HEAD LIKE SOME ELEMENTARY SCHOOL MIDGET?" He yelled.
"Jeez kid, is he always like this?" Greed asked me.
"Yeah, get used to it if you're going to stick with him." I said, I was kind of glad Ed was giving Greed a hard time. Unfortunately Greed knew I was glad.
"Careful shorty" said greed, and to me "you too prince"
Edward was about to rant again before Greed cut him off, swooping close to his face and whispering "maybe I should let slip what happened between you and the prince while you guy's where trapped in Gluttony."
My heart stopped.
At any other moment I would have loved the look on Ed's face as it turned white and then a sickly shade of green.
It had been a moment of desperation, we had been walking through a blood-filled hell for hours, we both thought we we're going to die, and nobody was around. In short I forgot about the women who had been guarding me my whole life, Edward forgot about his automail engineer.
"Yeah the prince kept the memory nice and fresh."
I had tried to forget those moments before Envy found us.
"It would be nice to get your little engineer and ninja girl together and tell them all the details."
"I swear you tell her and I'll-"
"You'll what? Kill me? Even if you could I know you don't want to hurt the prince, I have enough proof of that."
Needless to say the blond alchemist didn't say anything as they made their way to Resembool.
