Brothers United
Chris stood before Wyatt after being dragged back to the future by Bianca. "Et tu Chris? Of all the people to betray me." Wyatt said stalking towards Chris.
"Wyatt, please, just let me explain." Chris said hoping that his brother would listen.
"Why should I give you that chance?" Wyatt asked cruelly.
"Because you still have a chance of me joining you." Chris said knowing that was the only thing that would possibly make him stop and listen.
"I'm listening. You have one minute." Wyatt stopped and crossed his arms.
"I went to the past to save you from whatever turned you evil that's true, but something I never told anyone else was this. If you were not turned evil. If this was your choice and yours alone, then I will join you."
Wyatt looked at Chris skeptically. "You would really rule by my side?"
"I would follow you anywhere Wyatt. You should know that. You're the only family I have left. But I want to be sure I'm following the real you. What you would really be without an outside influence. Don't you want to be sure of that too?" Chris asked his brother.
Wyatt stopped to think for a moment. "And if I allow you to do what you went back to do you will come back and stand by my side?"
"You have my word." Chris nodded solemnly.
"Very well, but you will have a deadline. You have until the day you are born. Then you come back." Wyatt said.
"Agreed." Chris said glad that he was getting his chance. Chris went to the loose floorboard and said the spell to get his powers back before heading back through the portal to the past.
(A/N: Assume from here that things went like they did on the show except that the potion worked and Gideon was never after Wyatt.)
Chris stepped back through the portal into the attic of the manor to find Wyatt sitting sprawled on the couch waiting for him. Chris looked appraisingly at Wyatt to see that he was still wearing all black, his hair was still long, and he still looked just as evil as before. "Satisfied little brother?" Wyatt asked sneering.
"Yes I am Wyatt. I wish you would have changed, but I see now that this is your choice and I will stand by you like I promised." Chris said sadly.
"Don't worry Chris. You will have a say in how things are run too. You can make things better to a point. When I said you will rule by my side I meant it. You are my equal in this." Wyatt assured his brother. "Now lets go introduce you to the troops." He smiled finally satisfied.
