Glasses

He took his glasses off, then put it on again. He sighed. Would it be good to combine his Gold Cloth with glasses?
But he had to admit, he couldn't see well without his glasses. That was the result of his heavy-subjects books. Irritating glasses.
He stared at the glass which a bit reflected himself. Not bad…he only looked a little bit older than his age.
He then read a book about Blue Gaard.
"Blue Gaard…," he murmured, reading the book painstakingly. It only spent couple minutes for him to understand the book's contents. He was the most intelligent Gold Saint, after all—simple information about Blue Gaard surely could be easily absorbed.
He stood up, stepping to the library's door with taking his glasses off, then put it on the shelf. He only used the glasses for reading anyway, never needed it for another purpose.
He then exited his beloved library.

The young man wandered alone through the Athens road. Blue Gaard...tomorrow he would do a mission to Blue Gaard with his best friend, Kardia. It surely would be a very tough mission.
And he felt everything wouldn't ever be the same...
He wanted to feel the wind-blows of Athens in peacefulness. Could be the last thing in Sanctuary he remembered…
Finally he arrived at a hill. The entire Athens could be seen from the height. Smile appeared on his handsome face when the wind breezes his hair softly…the wind he had known for long.
"You'll go to Blue Gaard tomorrow?" a voice came from his side.
Degel turned his head. He saw a young man sitting on the slope.
Degel knew him.
"Yes," he answered.
The stranger nodded in understanding.
Silence for some times. There was only the sound of the wind.
"How's future?" Degel asked softly.
The stranger smiled slightly. "Great," he answered. "How's past?"
"Great," Degel answered.
The stranger finally gave him a full smile. "You and I have same personality."
"No, you are colder."
"Really?" the stranger was startled.
"Yes," answered Degel, smiling at the stranger. "How did you come here?" he asked then.
"Chronos," the stranger answered shortly.
"I understand."
"Not that Chronos… I mean, there's a time machine, named "Chronos". The machine is made by Athena's foundation. I was permitted to use it."
"Oh…," Degel laughed sligthly. "Future is so practical, isn't it?"
"Sort of," the stranger smiled in warmth.
Degel then sat beside him.
"Do you like reading?" he asked.
"Yes."
"What kind of books do you like to read?"
"Any."
"I fond of a poem," Degel told the stranger, his wonderful eyes gazed at the starry sky. "Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard."
"The epitaph. Here rests his head upon the lap of Earth. A youth, to fortune and to fame unknown*…," the stranger recited.
Degel's eyes sparkled. "You even know the poet living in 18th century?"
"Their works are immortalized."
They gazed at each other in tranquility, though Degel saw the stranger turning his face after several minutes. The stranger seemed a bit shy.
"What is your name?" asked Degel.
"Camus," the stranger answered.
"I'm Degel."
"I know."
After gazing at each other again, Camus stood up, so did Degel.
"It's very nice to see you...," said Camus.
"It's very nice to see you too."
"I...I have to tell you that...tomorrow you will meet dea—"
"I know," Degel encouraged. "It's alright."
Camus nodded slowly.
"Goodbye."
"Goodbye."
Camus turned around and left Degel standing on the slope.
Degel took a deep breath. He regretted he couldn't see Camus's feature clearly. Were the colour of Camus's eyes green or blue?
If only he wore his glasses...
