I don't remember very well how my life was before that night when the ground started to shake under my paws and when I looked at the sky, there was lots of shooting stars, so many that I couldn't even count and while I was admiring the beautiful scene, one of those shooting stars ended up hitting me from behind and made me get unconscious.
When I came back to my senses, it was already morning and when I stand up, it seemed like there was something different with me but I couldn't point out what it was, so I decided to go back to my burrow to sleep and recover my energies for tonight. It was when I arrived there that I was able to point out what seemed different and it was the fact that my body changed and because of that I couldn't fit inside my burrow anymore, so my only option was to find somewhere else to sleep since it would be just too dangerous to sleep in the open.
While I was walking through the Savannah, I could hear something chasing from a certain distance while laughing and my first reaction was to run as fast as possible in the hopes that I wouldn't become someone else's breakfast, but it didn't take long for whoever it was that was chasing me to be able to pounce at me from behind and make me unable to escape my end.
"I gotcha! It's so much fun to play hunting."
"Huh? Play? You won't eat me… r-right?" I asked a little bit confused.
"I won't eat you!" she replied right away.
Then, after she helped me get back up, she introduced herself.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Serval, the Serval Cat. Are you the new Friend from last night's eruption? Which animal are you?"
"Eruption? Anyway, I'm an… Aardwolf. Nice to meet you, Serval." I said while looking at her, but she didn't look that much like a Serval Cat, besides her ears and tail… and maybe also her "fur" pattern resembles a little bit.
"Oh! Aardwolf, let me introduce you to the other Friends!" she says while grabbing my arm and starts to drag me right away through the Savannah.
