It was the middle of the night in the PonyVille Hospital. Thunderlane looked tiredly through the window,watching the stars twinkle from his bed. Why, oh, why did he get sick on a day like this ?
This was the day Rainbow Dash and the other Pegasi created a tornado to bring the water up to Cloudsdale.
The worst part of all is that he got everypony sick! All because of the stupid feather flu! He should have taken his cough medicine. If he had done as he was told, none of this would've happened! The thoughts all in his head made him feel worse. He facepalmed his hoof into his forehead,
"Oh,my Celestia,I'm such a idiot!", he shouted out in frustration.
He let out a huge groan as he flopped his head back into his pillow, then let out a sigh to looked up at the ceiling. There was very little he could do to change things.
He heard a knock at the door. It was Rainbow Dash, herself!
"Rainbow Dash, what are you doing here? Are you going to come and depress me because I got sick!?",accusedThunderlane.
Rainbow Dash reached his bed.
"No,I just came here because Twilight suggested that I stop by to see how you and the rest of the pegasi are doing.", said Rainbow Dash in a calm and low voice.
"Well, me!?!..and the rest of them are all doing terrible! I feel very wheezy and tired and it's all my fault!"cried Thunderlane .
Immediately he started coughing. This made Rainbow Dash quickly help Thunderlane back onto his pillow,to lay in bed.
Thunderlane's eyes were closed due to how much he had coughed. He slowly opened them looked into Rainbow Dash's pink eyes. He had never seen eyes this beautiful from a pony. This made him all of a sudden blush red.
"You need rest ,Thunderlane. I brought you a tasty treat to help you feel better later.", Rainbow Dash said.
She showed Thunderlane a pink box wrapped in yellow.
"What's this?", asked Thunderlane , one eyebrow up as he looks at Rainbow Dash.
"Inside,it's chocolates.I stopped by at ,Sugar Cube Corner. My friend, Pinkie Pie helped me to get me these chocolates. So I could bring it to you and the others.",explained Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow Dash walked forward and placed the box on Thunderlane's lap.
Thunderlane picked up the box then looked at Rainbow Dash, "Wow...Rainbow Dash, I don't know what to say but...thank you.".
Rainbow Dash smiled at him saying,"No problem, Thunderlane."
Then, he walked out of the room to go and say hello to more Pegasi and to bring them chocolates.
This left Thunderlane all alone, opening the box to reveal the chocolates. He smiled at them. He wasn't smiling at the chocolates, he was smiling at how grateful he was that Rainbow Dash had come and visit him to bring in chocolates.
"Thank you Rainbow Dash.", he said.
