"In Her Eyes"
She was just a girl. A lonely girl who needed someone to believe in her. She didn't need a Prince Charming to swoop in and save her from the perils of everyday life. She wanted someone who give her a confidence boost that she had always craved and needed. Most people would spend every moment of their life waiting for the special someone to come. But she had already found him, problem was, he was in love with someone else
He had dark hair, the color of the night sky, her blonde hair contrasted deeply against his. He had brown eyes, the color of chocolate and all things good. He was tall, over 6 feet, while she was petite and barely over 5 foot 5 inches. She had different interests then he had. He loved solving puzzles and mysteries, and had a logical side to him where everything had to be perfect in a sense. She was rash, lashing out an impulsive girl who made as many wrong decisions and right. They were as different as night and day, how could they ever work.
The other girl was just like him, their personality and interests meshed as if they were both stemmed from the same person. She had dark red hair, which she casually threw into a ponytail as she was always busy. She was almost as tall as him, and they were sometimes regarded as two sides of the same coin. Two peas in a pod. Siblings separated at birth, craving for a reunion.
But she had one thing that the other didn't have, the love of the significant other. It didn't matter that one girl had more money, more status, more clothes, or more technology, as long as she didn't have the one thing that mattered most of all. Him.
The first girl had a story. She had battled with self-confidence issues. The death of her grandparents took a large toll on her at such a young age. She began losing weight and gained a haunted look in her eyes every time she blinked. She wasn't just the perfect cheerleader and perfect student with perfect blonde hair and a perfect body.
There was something deeper there that no one knew. She had thought that she could share this with him, but realized she never could. He wasn't her's and he never would be. It didn't matter though.
She was Callie Shaw and there was
a story in her eyes
